Finn and Poe

Chapter 5- Poe and Finn

POE-

Finn went in to shower twenty minutes ago. It's been forever. I stink too. I wish I could open the door. He locked it. I can't believe I just considered opening a door to someone naked inside the bathroom. What wrong with me? It's probably because of my feelings and my 'feelings'.
    How is it that I've never felt this way before? He finally opens the door and he's fully clothed. Unfortunately. He smells better though. His wearing the long sleeved shirt he wore I think the last he came here with Rose and black pants. He looked good in it.
     "I'm gonna go in now" I smile and say to him as I scoot closer to the bathroom. "Yeah, sure. Sorry I took a while." Like I didn't notice. "It's fine. The night is still young." I say as I close the bathroom door, locking it. Then, I unlock it. Just in case.
      I take off my clothes and go in the shower. It was very fancy looking. I have never seen a shower so shiny but it worked like every other shower. I turn the shower lever to switch it on and the hot water splashed all over me. It's been so long since I showered in hot water. Even at the Resistance, the showers were all cold. And also I haven't showered since before The Battle of Crait for that I have been in the Falcon for weeks. It feels like almost a month. Has it been a month?? I have no idea. Lost track of time I guess. 
      I start thinking of Finn. Is he waiting for me out there? I should hurry up and stop enjoying this hot water so much.

FINN-

I see Poe's transmitter on the table. I take it and call the ship. Almost immediately someone picks up and it's 3P0.
"Master Finn. How is Canto Bight?" He asks.
"Its grea, 3PO." I say but immediately ask him what I want to ask "How's Rose? Any Changes?"
"She's perfectly fine Master Finn but still unconscious. I'm sorry. I promise I will let you know if anything changes." He says as I sigh. Then I say thanks to him and cut transmission.
       Poe walks out of the bathroom door half naked with a towel around his waist. It was... distracting. I heard someone talking and then I realised it was him. He was talking to me. I didn't hear what he said. It's hard to pay attention with his body exposed.
     What? It's just his body. You have the same type of body. Everything is the same except for our skin colour and his well-crafted body. I have to pay attention. 

   " What did you say?" I asked. "UHH, I asked who did you call?" Oh that's all. "I called 3PO and asked about everything. The ship and all." Poe came closer with his not clothed body and said "You called to check up on Rose,right?" When he said that, I lumped on the edge of the bed because I suddenly exhausted and less distracted. Oh wait. Now I'm more distracted now that I'm directly at his.... Why can't my brain ever shut up?
     "I'm sure she'll be fine, okay. We just got to have faith." He says as he lumps on the bed next to me with his palm on my shoulder which sent chills down my spine. "You better put some clothes on if you want to walk around out there." I needed to change the subject and get him to put some clothes on. He gets up and before he took his towel off, I turned away towards the wall.

POE-

I can't believe I just did that in front of him. I'm literally butt naked in front of him and he's looking away. Maybe he does have feelings for Rose? Maybe I'm taking this a little too far? Maybe It's been all in my head? I quickly put on my clothes and tell him that I'm dressed so that he can look at me again. I kind of feel more naked with him NOT looking at me.
      "Let's go." I say when he says "Okay. Where do you wanna go?" I didn't think of that. Damn. I am hungry. "Let's have dinner. Do you know any good food kind of restaurants?" Then, he says "Yeah, there's a few restaurants nearby." Then, I say "Great. Let's go check them out."
       "You just want to have dinner?" Finn asks me looking confused and a little surprised. "Yeah, why?" Did I say something wrong? Does he not like dinner or something? "I thought maybe you'd wanna to go the main attraction at this place. The gigantic casino." Of course I want to go there but I'm putting that temptation aside to work on my other temptation. My guilty one. You. "Nahh. I'm not much of a gambler." My male instincts would slap me right now for going on a imaginary date with someone who might not like me back instead of gambling.
   "Okay." He says in relief. I think.

I'm so relieved he is not the kind of person who doesn't gamble. I didn't think I was a person to gamble until that day when I first came here. It's nice to know that Poe is   just amazing that he just wants to go for dinner. At least I think it's just dinner.
