Chapter 7~ Training With Danielle

~ A/N: I know Danielle and Liam broke up in real life. However, I wrote this when they were still together. I do not plan on changing it because in my mind, Payzer still exists. Enough said.~

*Destiny's POV*

        We reached a secluded lagoon a few miles away from the house. I had water so clear that one could see all the way to the bottom, but on the way over here Niall told us that is was actually 50 feet deep at the lowest point. There was also a large cliff that stood by the water's edge, very easy to jump off of without getting seriously injured. There was also what looked like a hidden cave that stood behind the rocks. It was absoutely breathtaking.

        "Quite right, Destiny,"  Niall spoke.      

        "Okay, seriously! Stop poking around in my brain!" I snapped. Niall held up his hands in surrender. That's when Danielle walked out of the woods with a large smile on her face.

        "Destiny! Tory! You ready to start training?" she asked.

        "Yes!... Well, maybe. What exactly are we doing?" Tory asked.

        "I am so glad you asked! Today I'm just going to teach you the basics: controlling water, swimming, cliff diving, et cetera... If we have enough time, I might aslo start teaching you guys about how to control your tail appearances, and how to communicate with aquatic creatures. The last one isn't very useful if you're on land, but it it very fun to have nonetheless!" 

        "That sounds amasing! Where do we even start?" I asked.

        "Lets just start off with one of the most basic of all the meremaid abilities-- controlling water. Lets get in the water, shall we?" Danielle then jumped head first into the lagoon. Tory and I then followed suit, much less gracefully, that's for sure. We got about wasit deep in the water before Danielle stopped. 

        "The first thing you need to know about water contol in how to water is how to keep it stable. You have to use your concentration. Imagine what form you want the water to take in your mind. The first form that I want you to iagine is just a ball of water. Close your eyes, take a deep breath and motion your hands to make a spherical shape." Danielle instructed. We did exactly as she said. I moved my hands to make a ball. When I opened my eyes, there was to tiniest, weakest ball of water I had ever seen. Tory, on the other hand, had the perfect spere floating mid air right in front of her.

        "Stupid element bending.." I muttered under my breath. Tory just giggled in response.

        "Don't get discouraged, Destiny! Practice maked perfect," Danielle encouraged, "try it again". I huffed and closed my eyes again. I tried for the next half an hour. Then finally...

        "Open your eyes, Des!" Danielle exclaimed. I did as she said. There floating in front of me was a perfect sphere of water.

        "You frigging did it, you dumbnut!" Tory yelled. I smiled. I let the ball drop back into the lagoon.

        "Now that you got the concepy, you can do anything! You guys want to surf?" Danielle asked. Tory and I cheered in unison. After about ten minutes of practice, we chreated our on waves-- no boards needed! We surfed for a good two hours before we all just fell into the water.

        "Now that was hella awesome" I said cooly. 

        "You ladies seem ready for some cliff jumping and swimming! Well practice for a few more hours, and then I will teach you about how to get your tail!" Danielle informed us. Tory and I gladly oblidged.
