Natsu's P.O.V.
The day I invited Juvia, Gray, and Erza to the house for dinner was most definitely one of the most awkward. I'm talking, like, in the TOP TEN. Let me explain. I found all three of them sitting in the guild talking about the fact that Lisanna had ran away- she had left a note telling Mira and Elfman that she didn't want to risk being killed when Slade came to retaliate. That she hadn't came back to EarthLand just to be caught in the cross-fire between a dark wizard guild and a certain blond-mage. I'd been outraged, but held it in. Either way, that meant Lisanna wouldn't be around to make Lucy feel worse than I'm sure she already did. Even though Lucy hadn't said anything, I could see how much pain was inside her- not just from our mating bond, but from the way her eyes lost their light when I mentioned Gray, or Juvia, or Lisanna. I kept thinking: How did this happen? How did it come to this? I remembered back to almost a year ago- even though it seemed so much longer than that now- when I was dating Lisanna. How could this one be the same as the girl I'd laughed and kissed? I'd strode up to the table, invited them, and was about to run back to the house. I wanted to be the one to tell Lucy about Lisanna- but Master and Gildarts called me over to the bar. Mira and Elfman sat there, looking dead inside.
"What?" I asked, as I came to a stop in front of them. Mira looked up, and frowned.
"Natsu...I don't think Li is just gonna leave. I'm worried about what she might do.." A couple tears of betrayal slid down her cheeks, and she blinked, furiously rubbing her eyes.
"Nee-san..." Elfman said gently. The big guy's eyes were rimmed with red. All of this because Lisanna didn't want Lucy to be saved. All of this because I tried to deny my feelings for Lucy by being with Lisanna. I set my mouth in a firm line.
"I am so sorry that all of this is happening-"
"It's not your fault," Mira said gently. "You and Lucy love one another. You were made for each other- it was only a matter of time before she got her heart broken." She cast her eyes to a table in the back where Jet sat crying his eyes out. It was like I was trapped in a nightmare, and I couldn't wake up. Every where I looked were sad faces or angry faces, or tear-filled eyes. I hated it. Unable to take it anymore, I turned and ran out of the guild, straight towards home.

Upon reaching the house, I noticed two things: the front door was wide open, and Happy was at the foot of the path that led to it, flying towards me. I caught him as he flew straight into my chest."Happy, what is it?"
"She- and now they're in there- and I don't-" He said, forming incoherent sentences.
"Slow down, and tell me." Then, his eyes focused on me, and he shook his head. Suddenly, I had a terrible feeling. I started wondering if I really wanted to know whatever he was about to tell me. I made up my mind too late.
"You're not gonna believe this....Lisanna's in there, talking to Lucy."
