I walked inside with a huge smile on my face. I didn't think it was that easy to make friends.
My mother and Jacob were eating dinner at the table. "I wondered where you were! I was just about to call you! Did you end up making a friend?" my mum asked eagerly.
"Yes! I saw it on Instagram! She's friends with Mac Harmon! Or should I say more than friends..." he added with a smirk and the raise of an eyebrow.
"Shaddup," I mumbled, skipping dinner and going to my room.

*bzz* *bzz* My alarm clock went off. it was 6.00am and time for school. I hated school. It started way too early and it was bad enough that I was suffering from jet lag.
I tiredly grabbed a random piece of clothing from my suitcase (I was too lazy to put them in the wardrobes provided) and put it on. Walking across into the bathroom, I brushed my hair and didn't bother with anything else. Before I walked out the door, I grabbed my bag and a small piece of toast.
It was the same routine every morning so my new house didn't make it any different at all. The only thing that made it different was the new route to school. Jacob and my mother weren't home and I didn't want to take the risk of texting them incase they were doing something.
I walked outside and realised that I had a new friend that only lived accross the road - MAC!! Maybe he knows where my school is?
Sure enough, upon knocking on his front door I found out that Mac went to the same school as me and I followed him there, relieved. I really didn't want to be late for my first day.
As I entered the school and looked at my new timetable, I found that most of my classes today were with Mac and I smiled at the thought. This was going to be great.
First up we both had math which was really boring. The teacher was Chinese and spoke very quietly. He looked like he had no idea what he was talking about. He kept changing the subject a lot and I ended up with a whole bunch of notes that didn't make any sense.
Mac looked down at my notes at the end of the lesson and laughed. "There's no point!haha! Nothing he says makes sense anyway!" he exclaimed through laughs, clutching his stomach. His laugh was so contagious.
"Hey there babe!" A pretty blonde girl had walked up to Mac and smacked her lips right onto his. He didn't seem to be enjoying it and pulled away quickly. I stared at them and I swear I started to feel empty inside. I don't know why and what the feeling was but seeing Mac with someone else was actually quite irritating and wasn't very good.
"Err... Gaby, hey. I have to tell you something..." he replied awkwardly, scratching the back of his head. "I kind of like someone else now..." He let go of her hands and pushed her away.
"WHO!?" she screamed, folding her arms across her chest and giving me a sidewards glance.
'Don't look at me!' I thought 'Not even Shrek would want to date me'. It was true. No one has ever liked me and I really couldn't blame them. I was ugly and my face was covered with marks and cuts from pervious fights I've been in with other girls that used to bully me. Some are even natural and have been there ever since I was born.
Mac blushed. "I can't say." was all he said.
He gestured for me to follow him to the cafeteria and I did, leaving the heartbroken girl all alone. "Sorry about that," he muttered, taking his food and choosing an empty table for us to sit at.
"It's alright," I replied. I didn't want to talk about that girl so I changed the subject. "Where's Bryson?"
MAC'S POV:
I could not believe what I had just done. I never liked that Gaby chick anyway. She forced me to do it and I didn't want to. I think she knew but didn't even care.
"Where's Bryson?" asked Emily, sounding just a bit eager. What does she like in him anyway? What does he have that I don't? I broke up with Gaby for her. I must talk with Bryson and set things straight.
"Erm... He just had cooking class, I think. He's probably... cleaning up?"
And sure enough, Bryson walked up to us with a spot of flour on his face and a container of cookies in one hand. He placed them on the table and sat down.
"Hey, try these cookies! I actually think that they are pretty good for once!"
I picked one up and tried it. It was OK, I guess.
"Wait! You're got flour on your face!" Emily said, getting a tissue out of her pocket and wiping it off. I gave Bryson a death glare and he shrugged at me. I wasn't liking this at all.
