chapter 9: re-assembled

"Danse?!"

The lime eyed male was standing before me, the said eyes staring into my muddy brown iris. He stared at me noticing that his colleague was carrying me, "uhm Hiro, what happened to your leg?" I suddenly remembered my leg was bleeding out,"a laser pistol hit me," I chuckled "huh!" Danse turned to the doctor "doc you got to get this girl help." Noah helped me onto the table, I rolled up my trouser leg, the doctor examined my injury. She told me not to worry about it but I needed to rest as she took of the old bloody bandages. The two males walked up to me with distressed eyes, "hiro, you okay?" asked Danse "I uh we were worried about you," Noah nodded in agreement "are you okay? that's the main thing." I nodded "I just need a place to stay and I don't think my house is intact," Danse looked at Noah, nodded and told me to follow them.I hopped off the table and hobbled behind the males, they lead me to a hall with tons of doors door leading to a different room.

I had a flashback to when we first entered the vault. The memory was so vivid it felt like I was like I was reliving it, I fell to the floor forcing my eyes shut, my head was hurting so much and ringing in my ears I screamed "MAKE IT STOP! GO AWAY ! I DONT WANNA GO BACK!" Noah seized hold of me "what do you think your doing?" he screamed "Go easy on her she's just a kid Noah!" The ringing was so loud I couldn't hear their shouting, my vision was blurred and the only two things I could see were the two soldiers . I pushed away Noah. His fist clenched and his eyes had lightning in them. He raised his hand. Danse screamed. I was waiting for the slap. Nothing, I looked up to Noah he was frozen in place so was Danse and I was the only moving person, "Hiro!" two voices said in the back ground. I turn and see my parents, running over to them leaping for a hug but falling straight through. "Mum, Dad why can't I touch you?" I ask "we are just spirits Hiro! Keep strong and brace for impact; when he hits you fall as far back as you can. Goodbye hiro we love you!" they vanished " w..wait!" 

I was back to reality and Noah was coming in for the hit, as soon as he touched me I jumped back and crashed into a titanium wall really hurting my back. When he saw me guilt filled his body "Hiro I." I ran outside to the railing. No one was there, it was quiet and I was alone. walking to the edge I looked down to the abyss of dirty grey clouds. 'is this the end, the end of my story will someone tell it or will I be forgotten'

I sighed and held my arms out...
