By Colten Ellis

No one turns so suddenly
The signs were always there
The instant you realize it
Is the instant it's too late
It has taken control of them
Unable to be turned back
Into the people they were before
Forever gone into the torment
They will cause upon others
Forever uncaring they are
Wishing only to make themselves
As happy as can be
No one can force them
To finish their torment
For they listen to only
The ones they care for most
Even if one finds that care
No one can make them
For they will make even
Those they care for most
Suffer in the torment
That they themselves cause
For they are monsters
In the purest form
Hidden amongst people
Tormenting the masses
These monsters plague
This precious Earth we love
Unable to stop them
We are powerless
For we succumb to them
For they are fearsome
For they are stronger
For they are the monsters
We have always feared
Infecting more innocent
Causing more monsters
To come up from the dust
Kicking up more vapor
To torment innocent souls
Gaining more masses
