By Colten Ellis

The universe is boundless
Has no limits nor rules
Once one is discovered
An exception to the rule
Will always be found
There are no rules
That apply to everything
Yet we all know the force
That flows through the
Very fabric of reality
Something that bends nature
Something that controls
This very planet we stand
Yet here I am feeling
So alone in this wide world
Like an island in a sea of
Never ending nothingness
Disconnecting me from the grid
In which all power flows from
Allowing me not to see
To my full potential
Being more blind than a blind man
For all my senses are dull
The cosmos has not sought me
For if it did I would be a switch
Able to turn on and off any time
Feeling the power flow through
My veins like wires in a wall
Conducting the power to it's
Utter most limits
Allowing my body the gift
Of the eternal knowledge
About who will win this fight
Between the forces of nature
And the forces of man
No one quite sure of the journey
But everyone arriving at the
Identical conclusion
Nature will win for sure
Yet for the good or bad
We will not know as of yet
Our minds and history young
In comparison to this vast universe
We come from the cosmos
And only there it will be our rest
