10: Time to Party!

Reyna's POV
   I parked and entered the school early, hoping to catch Seth in the halls. I texted him, letting him know I was there, but I got no response. I was getting impatient and upset. A million different questions swam in my brain. What if he doesn't like me anymore? What if he's with another girl? What if he blackmails me? What if?

   First period had started. I hadn't seen Seth at all. I dreadfully walked up the 4 flights of stairs to the Home Ec. room. I had nodded goodbye to Brielle and strode in the door confidently, though I was feeling anything but. Brielle Sanders is a girl that's in my P7 class so yeah. And guess who else I didn't see? Evie. She texted me during our sewing machine lecture about how we would meet up again for Math. I knew how to sew, so I zoned out.

I also got a text from Piper, and Thalia, both wondering if I was at school. Annabeth was in this class with me, as was Hazel, but Piper and Thalia are in Tech. Ed. I had notified them I was safe.
"Reyna darling," the teacher, Ms. Lougria said.
"Yes?"
"Were you paying any attention what-so-ever," she asked me.

Seeing no reason to lie to the poor teacher, I told her the truth. "Didn't listen to a single word that came out of your mouth," I said, also hearing a few snickers from around the room. The stupid class had 3 minutes until the bell rang, and the teacher said that if I brought her a piece that was properly sewed together, on Monday (because P.E. is every day I don't have home Ec) than she would give me and automatic A for the class and excused me.

I stood outside Mr. Henrickle's door, waiting for any sign of wavy pink locks. Or deep electric-y blue eyes of hers. I spotted the hair before the face. I scuttled over and hugged her as greeting.
"Evie! Where were you," I demanded. She laughed.
"Well," she leaned in,"Jace seduced me behind the building," she said. "He kissed me and touched me throughout 1st period. Sorry," she said whispering. I choked on my own saliva.
"Him?"
"Yeah. His lips are so so-"
I pulled her so close to me in a hug, and couldn't help but want to never let her go. Her hair smelled like honey, a contrast to the pink hair, and her tears stained my purple shirt. "He-he said tha-that," she began, a heartbreaking sob coming out, "if I-if I don't let him, he-he'll t-tell Principal Avery that I raped him," she finished, and I let her cry on my shoulder for about 2 more minutes. Mr. Henrickle made his way into my viewing line.
"Shh, shh Mr. Henrickle is coming," I whispered. She gathered herself, straightening her posture, her hair and wiping her eyes putting on a brave face.

After Greek, Evie and I, along with my other friends walked to Mr. Blofis's class. English. The light of my life! *hint sarcasm* I braided E's hair as she did mine. We have to write and argumentative essay and I freakin can't write one for my life. (I have to do the same dam thing so someone has to share my pain if writing one of these stupid things. #sorrynotsorryreyna) Then we went to science and finally, lunch! I sat with my friends of course which also include Evie. Lunch was O.K. today.

   As Evie and I went off to E/I because the rest of my friends have a club to attend to, the worst possible thing happened.

I saw Seth.

Holding hands with Amora. Her name literally means, love. Urgh!!

My breath hitched in my throats when I tried to speak. And normally, I don't cry. But the first day I did. And I was close to tears now. Evie quickly realized this, and rubbed circles on my back. The only thing I could say without breaking, was, "Please..." He walked away, Amora in his hands.

A/N: I literally looked up 'names that mean love' and Amora is the Spanish word for love. Apparently.

Will's POV
   Most of the day, I was hot on Reyna's heels. We went to just about every class together. After lunch, we were on our way to 7th period when I heard Reyna's breath hitch. I hid behind I trash bin and watched the brutal-ness. I turned away ready to 'take the backroad' because Reyna never showed any kind of affection for anyone and it was clear she liked this guy. So I went the long way around. The rest of the day was a blur until a girl I recognized as Avery and her boyfriend Marty came over to us.
