Chapter 12

*one month later*

Theo's Pov

It's over. Our month long of endless days of training are over. Starting tomorrow, we will officially begin filming. Well, as for me, I start on Friday, just because we are going to film the Ferris wheel scene.

Today, Sunday, is are last day that we have to ourselves. All of a sudden, my phone rings. Looking at the caller I get happy.

"Yes?"

"Hello to you too. Wanna go to Starbucks?" Shai asks.

"Ew no."

"Haha just kidding. Um, I wanna get Chinese food!"

"Fine. I'll be at your hotel door in 20 minutes." I tell her.

"Nooo come now! I miss you!" She pauses, "Uh, erm, you know, hanging out with you."

I smirk, "Well unless you want to be seen with a bum in public, I suggest you give me 20 minutes."

"10." She says sternly.

"Ugh, okay. Bye Shai."

"Byee!"

When she hangs up, I laugh. She said she misses me! We only were together five days out of the past month. So, I get where she's coming from.

I quickly take off my cotton shirt and replace it with a plaid button-up. Leaving my jeans, I walk to the bathroom and comb my hair. Even though I am prepared in about ten minutes or so, I decide to wait. Just to get on Shai's nerves. Next thing I know, my phone rings. It's Shai, but I ignore it. She calls two more times. Then she repeatedly texts me. A hand knocks on the door roughly.

"THEODORE JAMES! YOU SAID 10 MINUTES IT'S ALMOST BEEN 20!" Shai yells.

I walk over and open the door, "Yeah, I know."

Shai hugs me and looks up, "Since you made me wait, you're paying."

"Ugh fine I don't care,"

Shai's Pov

At the Chinese restaurant, Theo and I both eat rice and wings.

"So," I begin, my mouth half full, "I got a request to audition for a new movie."

"Oh congrats. which one?" Theo asks.

"The fault in our stars."

"Oh... okay." He responds.

Oh great. Ansel previously told me that he got the part and TFIOS' Augustus Waters. That's it. I'm asking her out. TONIGHT.
