Theo's POV

Later that day, Shai and I seperated to do our own things. Honestly, I miss her by my side; her warming smile and twinkling hazel eyes. That personality that can always make you happy. Theo, stop, I mentally scold myself. You've only known her for what? 3, 4 days? You just broke up with Ruth. You need time to think through about this.

Well you know what? It may be too early to know for sure. But, I don't care! I want to shout it out on rooftops so everyone knows. I want to let everyone know that I, Theodore James, may start to fall for Shailene Woodley. And I am extremely proud.

All of a sudden, a finger snaps in front of my face. "Theo? Man, you in there?" Miles asks, smirking. "I'm perfectly fine, guys. Just thinking about... stuff." I respond. Ansel, which is standing right next to Miles, laughs. He walks over to me and smiles, "So tell me, does this stuff happen to be, oh I don't know, a co-star by any chance?" I don't respond. Should I? "Um, n-no." Damn, why did I stutter?

"Pipe it, shuck-face!" Miles exclaims. "You so like her!" He cries. I smirk and lift my head. "And you so sound like an abnoxious little brat," I tell him, imitating a teenage girl's voice. "Wait," Ansel begins. "You read The Maze Runner?" Miles blushes a little, "I'm not that conceded, gosh."

Shailene's POV

After Theo left my house, I called Zoë so she can some over.

In 5 minutes, there is a knock on the door. I lazily get up from my bed and walk over to the door, opening it. "Shai! How's it going?" She exclaims as she enters my house.

"It's been good," I respond gloomily. Zoë stares at me and frowns. "Ahaha liar. Now sit down, we have talking to do. So spill." She demands. I sigh."IthinkIlikeTheobutI'm-notsure." I mumble. Zoë's face lights up and she smiles. "I. Told. You."

She gets her phone and rapidly begins to type.

<Zoë's Pov>

Once Shai finally admitted she liked Theo, I took out my phone to text Miles.

what are you guys up to- Z

McDonald's w/ Ansel and Theo- M

aren't you fat enough- Z

haha. anyways guess what- M

OMF what- Z

our plan worked. he likes her- M

yay! I got Shai to admit it too. She's not hard to crack idk what you are talking about- Z

well we'll surprise Shai later don't tell her we're coming- M

okay bye- Z

When I put my phone down, I see Shai staring at me. "So, who were you texting?" She questions. "Miles. Geez calm down." I respond.

"What is he doing?" Shai asks.

"McDonald's with the guys."

"Ew how can they eat that so much."

"I honestly don't know." I respond. Should I tell her that Theo likes her? You know what, maybe that can wait for when the time has come.

Maybe it already has.
