We laugh at each others jokes for a while until the check and the fortune cookies come.
I quickly crack the cookie open and take the slip of paper, reading it aloud:
"There is going to be a great surprise for you very soon,"
"Hm, let me read mine," Theo says.
"Say what you want to say now, or forever keep it hidden."
"Woah, that's... different." I say.
"Yeah." Theo replies.

Theo's Pov
I never knew fortune cookies were so accurate until now.
You know what, there's no paparazzi, there's no interruption, why can't I ask her now?
I slip my hand in my back pocket, taking out the necklace I got her.
"Hey you have something on your neck," I inform Shai. I get up from my seat and walk over to her. Gently pushing her hair aside, I place the necklace on her neck and close the hook thingy. I lean into her ear and whisper, "Will you, Shailene Diann Woodley, be my girlfriend?"
Shai immediately covers her mouth to hide a smile but it doesn't work. She nods, "Yes! Yes, yes, yes!" She exclaims, engulfing me in her arms.
She's mine.
She's finally mine.
