Dead Wishes

Apologies pt.1

Cameron woke up and her music was still playing. Throwing off the sheets she got up to turn off the music. I'm not going to school today she said to herself. After Mara scared me half to death I don't want to speak to her. She waited until her sister and mother left but before they did a note was slipped under Cameron's door.
Cameron... If you get up please come to school. Something is wrong and I'll figure it out. We'll talk when I get back okay, that's if you are still here...

Cameron looked at the note for the longest time before throwing it in the trash bin. It's only 7 so I'll leave around 8. Cameron got ready as the time went by. Her mom and sister were gone so she took her time. Getting her clothes so she can change out of her pajamas when someone knocked on the door. Cameron rolled her eyes and walked down slowly hoping they'd leave. She looked out the side window then went to the door and opened it.
"Oh..umm.hah hi Cameron. Is Clarity still here?"
"Do I know you and who are you?"
The guy was a total stranger to Cameron so like all people she said no and shut the door. Feeling not even a bit bad she walked back upstairs and they knocked again. Sighing she yelled goodbye and continued back up stairs. The door opened as the guy just walked in. Cameron looked at them but just shrugged.
"Just don't steal anything I guess." Cameron said. If he knows Clarity I'm sure it's okay for him to be here right? Probably just her boyfriend or something. "Hey Cameron?"
She closed her door and locked it. Quickly she went to the bathroom to change, brush her hair, and teeth. It was 8:15 so she grabbed her bag and phone. Slowly she walked down stairs to see if he was still there. "Okay. Dude what is your deal?" He looked at her and laughed a bit. "You never changed a bit."
"Whatever. So now get out." Cameron said a bit harsh. He got up from a chair in the kitchen and walked out. "You don't know my name?"
"No so I'd like to keep it that way."
"Come on Cameron we are in the same school. I don't look familiar?"
"Nope."
Cameron closed the door making sure it was locked then she headed to the other car.
"You know what?" He asked.
"Goodbye.!" Cameron yelled angrily.
She started the car and headed to school. That weird guy just can't come to someone's house. I need to talk with Clarity about him. Finally reaching school she locked the car and ran inside. She made it to 1st hour with 39 mins to spare. Tossing her bag on the ground like trash she sat down listening to the boring teacher talk about the formula to find the zeros of of a parabola. Slowly spacing off getting lost in her thoughts she was tapped on the shoulder. "Wake up." The girl smiled then walked out of the class. Just a few more hours of school it can't possibly be that difficult today. "Cameron!" Clarity yelled giving her a hug. "Sorry if Kyle bothered you this morning I asked him to come over but I left with mom."
Cameron smiled."It's okay." It really wasn't okay because she knew that name once. "Wait. You mean that's Kyle? The Kyle that pushed me into the water and I almost died! That Kyle why is he still your friend?" The tardy bell rang and Clarity just looked at her sister and shook her head. "Yes that is Kyle but look you have to forgi-."
"No thanks. Sorry but I gotta go."
Clarity had a frown as Cameron took off to computers. "You're late." Mr. Dale said before telling the class what we'll be doing today. After his Instructions he left to copy some paper work as the class worked. "Told you I'd see you later." Cameron looked at the guy who was Kyle. In her mind she wanted to punch Kyle so she did. She blinked really quick to reality just saying one word "jerk!" Everyone looked at her because she yelled a bit but ignored it. "Hey you know me now huh?"
"Yes and I wish I never did know you."
"Look Cameron I'm really sorry of what happened that day. I was a total jerk. Here." Kyle grabbed his bag and took out a box . Cameron took the box but didn't open it. Cameron laughed a bit then gave it back. "Cam please forgive me." She stopped smiling then took the box thinking if she should forgive him. Kyle smiled as Cameron slowly tore off the wrapping paper. "I haven't been called Cam in a long time." When she finished tearing the paper off she opened the box."Really? So what do you think?" Kyle asked. Cameron's expression was what he'd hoped it would be. She took out the camera she had before it fell into the water. "Believe it or not but that camera was a hard fix especially since it fell in the water. I could have just bought you a new one but that wouldn't be the best way to apologize. Well it could be but you always took pictures everytime Clarity dragged you along. So I figured that camera meant a lot to you." Kyle looked at Cameron as she still held the camera in her hands. "You called it old and cheap. Thank you but I don't know if this really helps with the other problem." Finally looking at him in the eyes she decided to forgive him for now and gave him a hug for the camera. Kyle didn't know what to do because Cameron was never this nice to him. He hugged her back but she quickly moved back. "Thanks again." Kyle looked at Cameron as she smiled then put the camera in her bag. They both went back to their computers to do research on the job they want and type a 3 page essay on it."Hey Kyle. Dude are you okay?" Everdean asked sitting beside Kyle. He was always late to class no matter what.
"Y-yea why do you ask?"
"Your face is a little red are you getting sick or something."
"No I'm totally fine really."
"Wait dude is it because you finally talked to that girl Nicole. Dude you're blushing that's not sickness. So how did it go?"
"I didn't talk to her." Kyle just continued typing and reading as Everdean tried talking to him.
"Come on just tell me what's wrong."
Kyle finally gave in. "Fine yes. Yes it was a girl but it wasn't Nicole alright. I don't know why I feel like this so just shut up now."
"So who is it Kyle? You never are like this but this person must be different."
Kyle just focused back on his work. The bell rang as the class left Everdean walked with Kyle. "Hey Cameron look can we talk?" Mara asked.
"I don't want to talk right now but look it's not your fault."
Kyle looked at Cameron as Everdean tried to see who he was looking at but the hall was too crowded. Cameron made eye contact with Kyle and smiled but all Kyle could do was quickly look away.
"What did she see you? You have to tell me eventually." Everdean said as they walked on to their next hour.
