Fall Break

After Cameron got on the bus it didn't take her long to get to her destination.   She woke up when someone tapped her shoulder. It was dark outside and no one else was on the bus.
"Sorry to interrupt your beauty sleep but you're the only one on the bus. The driver told me to wake you up because well he needed to use the restroom" He said laughing then leaving. Cameron got off the bus and tapped a guys shoulder

"Do you know the time?" Cameron said a little sleepy while he looked at his watch.

"It's around 3 am Cameron." He said looking up and moving out of the way.

"What? Wait did you say my name?"

"Oh okay that's your name. I was just checking because I believe I know you."

Cameron was confused as they walked off the bus. She grabbed the guys arm and turned him around. She looked at his face. "Sorry but I'm just seeing if I know you. I probably look like a creep." Cameron looked at him and finally let go of his arm. " I seen you in school but I never got your name. I think Kyle or Everdean or was it Clarity that said your name. Umm it was something like Jam... or Joshu.. it's Jasper that's what it was right?" He started laughing at Cameron's  attempts. "Yes it's Jasper though." He smiled and they slowly walked to the bus station. Cameron quickly walked to a vending machine she saw and got a bag of cheetos.
"Whaant shumm?" Cameron said with her mouth stuffed with the cheetos. Jasper laughed at her saying no.

"So what are you doing in Walksher?"

" I kinda just what would you say umm ran away from home." Cameron rubbed the back of her head before staring at the sky. "It's a nice morning."

"What do you plan for fall break? Maybe we could hang out sometime."

"That would be great! Honestly I need someone to talk too because I didn't want to be alone. I mean I'm not alone I just need someone to hang with. I have someone I could talk to but they'll probably ignore me. Gosh I'm sorry I talk to much. I'll umm stop." Cameron looked at Jasper's light hazel brown eyes and he let out a small laugh. "Well I have to go. I'll see you around. Oh and here's my number." Jasper gave Cameron a piece of paper as he was about to walk off he stopped. "Cameron?"

"Y-yea."

" Do you need a ride?"

"Uhh.." Cameron noticed if he left she'd be alone. She also didn't want to trouble him but she really need to get to her friends house somehow. "I'm good I'll just walk."

"Are you sure? It's no trouble at all."

Cameron walked up to Jasper "sure."
They walked to the car and someone else was in it. "Hey Jasper. Who's your friend?"

"This is Cameron and I offered to take her home. We go to the same school. Cameron this is my older brother Sean."

Cameron smiled and waved hi before getting in. The car smelled of cologne which was amazing. Cameron looked out the window and they were in the city. Cameron put in the directions on Seans phone. It took a good 30 minute drive to get there. "Thanks so much for the lift."

"Hah no problem." Sean stated.
Jasper also said the same and waved goodbye as she walked to the house. They were gone and Cameron knocked on the door.
" Oh my gosh hello Cameron you were suppose to come tomorrow.  You should have texted me I would have picked you up."

" It's no problem really Aunt Mags. I just came early because mom Was being an ass."

" Aww poor baby come in. I'm sorry you and your mom never got along after my brothers death. It's been hard but she can't blame you."

Cameron sipped some tea Mags made. Her house was better looking than her own home. As Mags talked on and on Cameron listened until finally clumsy her fell off the chair. All you see is a girl on the floor shocked at what just happened."Cameron get some rest it's 5:38 AM in the morning. You listened enough for now. I'll let you sleep."
