Day 16....

Cameron's POV

The next day Clarity was shouting when I woke up. I rolled out of bed and she wasn't the only one yelling. Mom was yelling at Clarity and for once.
"Mom stop yelling at her." I said because this wasn't normal.
It got quiet and I walked to see the two of them looking at me. My mom looked like a crazy lady even though she was already crazy in my book.
"The two of you are staying home and you aren't leaving."

Before Clarity could yell at mom again I grabbed her arm and dragged her back upstairs.

"What?" Clarity asked harshly.

"Just get ready I know how to leave this house since you really want to go to school."

"Mom kinda has this all planned trust me we aren't leaving. Even sneaking out the window won't help."

"Clarity just leave it to me. I just need your phone." She looked at me but quickly unlocked it and tossed it to me. She took off running to her room to get ready for school. Scrolling through her contacts I found Everdean's number and Kyles. Forget the past just got to get out of this house. I clicked Everdean's name and started typing.

Clarity: Hey Everdean can you come by the house. This is Cameron by the way.
Sent 7:10am

Clarity: how well do you think you can help with an escape?.. hah
Sent 7:10am

Everdean: Sure. I don't know but j believe I'm okay hah
Sent 7:12am

Clarity: okay great I'll see you soon. Clarity and I need help that's all and I thought you know you'd help.
Sent 7:13am

Everdean: Sure I'll help I'll swing by in 5 minutes.
Sent 7:15 am

I put down Clarity's phone and quickly got ready myself. I grabbed my bag then Clarity ran in all ready for school. She grabbed her phone and looked a little worried.
"We won't get caught sis trust me." I said smiling.

"Hey is Cameron here?" Everdean's voice was faint but I could tell that was him.

"She's sick so she's staying home sorry. Who are you?"

I ran in front of Clarity dragging her along behind me. She was like a puppy on a leash as we froze behind my mom. Her and Everdean were talking but Everdean saw us and made a questionable face. We stayed behind my mom and I tapped her shoulder.  She turned around and grate full Clarity wasn't really clumsy I pushed her forward and I followed right behind. Although for me I was always the mess up here when I tripped on the door step. Quickly getting up we stood up against the house wall outside.

My mom quickly turned around to see Everdean on the porch.
"Why are you on the ground?"

"Sorry I uh.. lost my balance is all."
Everdean said trying not to look in our direction. "Tell Cameron and Clarity I said hi than. Goodbye." He quickly said and walking off.

My mom closed the door and we quickly ran off the porch and to school.  After 3 blocks we stopped and I thanked Everdean. "6 more blocks come on Cameron." Clarity yelled already running. I quickly took off toward her direction looking back to see Everdean standing there still. I lost Clarity then bam! Clarity was laughing and trying to get up as I laughed with her. Everdean was with her which was confusing and we both got up.
"That hurt." I said laughing."I don't remember the last time you tackled me. I see why you failed a bit."
Clarity pouted a bit rubbing her forehead. "I didn't think I would have slipped on stupid pebbles."
"Sure Clarity blame the pebbles. You're a pro at tripping on air." I busted out laughing and she punched me in the arm.
"Come on you too we have to get to school it starts in 10 minutes."
"Yes sir." Clarity and I said at the same time running. We made it there with 7 minutes to spare. Clarity took off towards her friends and I fell on the floor.  People just looked at me as Everdean tried to make me stand up.
"Too much running. Need food."

"Cam are you serious just get up."

"No I can't I'm too tired. You didn't run as much. I'm not athletic like you."

"Don't make me drag you."

"You wouldn't."

He grabbed my ankles on both sides and dragged me down the hall. I tried to get up but he just kept dragging me to class.
"Clarity help me please!" I yelled passing her she waved by to her friends and ran up to Everdean. He dropped my ankles and I sat up.
"Told you I would drag you." I sticked my tongue out at him as I felt someone grab my hoodie.
"Hey!"
Clarity laughed a bit tightening the strings to where I could see much and she stood me up. When I loosened it she smiled and I looked at her.
"Let's go!" She once again took off running and next thing I know is someone picked me up and tossed me over there shoulders.
"Put me down!" I punched their back and heard the bell ring. "I mean it!"

"Stop." Clarity said.

"Put me down!" I was dropped into a seat and faced Clarity and Everdean.

"No Algebra for you today." Clarity said with a smile on her face.

"Why? I'm going to go."

"Cameron Pierce sit down. "

"Okay mom."

"Hey! I'm nothing like mom. I'm better."

"I hate you Everdean. "

" What did I do?"

"You took me to this classroom with her and other reasons. "

"What other reasons?" Clarity said looking at me and Everdean.

"Can I go please I see no point in this."

"Oh yea. Thanks Everdean for bringing her you may go now if you'd like. You and me need to talk Cameron."

"What here and not at home?"

"What you always run away or lock your door so I can never talk."

"Nightmares Cameron.  There back aren't they?"

"Clarity I don't want to talk about this."

"Please just tell me."

"I said I don't want to talk about it Clarity!" I snapped at her and getting up from the chair. "Just leave me out of your talks. This Is why I don't want to talk with you. Stop worrying about me!" I slammed the door and walked to Algebra.

I get my nightmares are back but it sucks. Every night it's the same thing. Also the same. I wish I could just disappear that'll be easier.

The day went by fast and I completely ignored Everdean and Clarity today.

Where we going today? I'm sorry I can't be any help but you are weak. Hah and it's all my fault. So how are you. Will you let him help you.

"Leave me alone."

I continued to walk through the park and sat at a rock near the small pond. The sun was setting and I continued to throw small pebbles I could reach into the water.

Watch out. Leave while you can. Too late.

I screamed when someone grabbed my shoulder.
"Sorry but you were just sitting here. You okay."

"I'm good"

"Okay just checking is all. Bye."

He walked off and I got up. Dusting off my pants the girl was talking again. I'm not good with this warning stuff.
"Why?" I said which was odd because only I could see her. My legs buckled getting up and I fell to the ground. That's why.

I woke up near the pond and looked around. Well thanks for warning me! No I have to wake up. I heard my dad yelling and Clarity yelling. I was near water again. When I fell in it was dark...

AUTHORS NOTE

I know my story is all confusing now and I will make fixes and try to get it in line. I'm awful at this Writing stuff since I don't use my note book anymore. I lost that so I'm just summarizing what I wrote. It'll possibly get better in the mean time just have patience with this confusing story (#^-^#)
