When he finally stopped walking he spun around to face me and I could not believe my eyes.
"Louis?" I spoke in disbelief. In his simple jeans, hoodie, and sneakers he looked similar to what he did 2 years ago. His jaw line had become more defined and he has gotten even more handsome. But something was very different about him.
When I looked into his eyes they had lost their usual spark.
"Peyton?" I nodded in answer, unsure of what was in store.
"Why are you crying?" He always hated when I cried.
"Long story, and not the type to be told in an alley." He seemed to be thinking before he grabbed my hand, gently pulling me to a car.
I could feel our old sparks running through our hands.
He helped me into the passenger seat before climbing into the driver's seat.
The car pulled away from the curb and he drove down the streets. Gliding over the pavement, in one of the smoothest rides I have ever experienced.
Louis was always a great driver, one of the many perks of him.
We slowed to a stop after driving down a really long driveway, with trees perfectly planted on each side.
I looked out my window and was awestruck at the monstrous house before me. A wonder of brick, stone, and glass reaching high in to the sky.
In the time I had been admiring the home Louis had made his way out and around the car, and now had my door open, waiting on me.
Once I got out and he closed the door we made our way up the pathway to the mansion. He unlocked the door and we stepped inside, kicking our shoes off.
The inside rivaled the out, with high ceilings, chandeliers, and a large marble staircase, matching the fireplaces in front of the couches.
"Louis? Are you home?" I heard a British accent yell.
"Yep, brought an old friend with me!" At his words came the sounds of feet pounding on the flooring, similar to the sound of animals on a stampede.
