"BOYS!" I shouted at them as they all talked over each other, arguing about what they wanted for supper, I had told them I could either cook something simple or we could order in. I had been hoping they would pick fast food so I didn't have to cook, but it sounds like Louis and Zayn really wanted me to cook.

At my shouting they had all stopped to look at me, finally giving me their full attention. It had quieted down and I could hardly think.

"Since you three can't do anything but bicker, I've decided for you. We are going to order in some Chinese food, okay?" They all nodded in answer. Niall looking a bit smug, but none fo them disagreed with my executive decision. Zayn took down everyone's orders and went into the hallway to call it in.

"What should we do tonight?" Niall questioned. Louis shrugged and they both turned to look at me, most likely hoping for another decision to be made for them. It had been quite nice out today; we could take advantage of that.

"Let's eat outside on the porch, and then we can just sit and chat outside before we turn in for the night." A smile grew on Louis's face and Niall nodded his head in agreement. Finally, Zayn returned from the hallway and came to sit on a kitchen stool, next to the others.

"We were thinking that we would eat outside and then just relax out there tonight, if that's okay with you Zayn?" I asked, hoping and praying he wouldn't object.

"Anything is fine with me." He smiled at me, but it didn't reach his eyes. Something was still bothering him; but he said he would tell me when he was ready. Guess I just need to be patient with him. I understand how hard it can be to tell someone an important thing.

We sat in a comfortable silence, the television was on and giving off enough noise to keep it from being too quiet.

When the doorbell rang announcing the food's arrival Niall immediately ran fro it, giving us a laugh as he hurriedly paid and returned with the food. Walking straight past us and outside, we followed him through the double doors to the back patio, choosing and sitting down at a table together.

It stayed silent for the most part, except the occasional question or comment, but the food was good and the atmosphere was perfect. Everything just seemed right.

We had just finished our food and I was taking the stack of dirty plates and dishes inside, followed by Zayn with the empty containers for the trash.

Before we reached the door I heard the soft crunch of gravel underneath tires, but I didn't think that we were expecting anyone tonight. I looked back at Zayn confused and he quickly opened the door and ushered me in, only letting me catch a glimpse of Niall's worried face before the door slammed shut as he practically drug me further into the kitchen.
