An unwanted encounter

"Where are we going lady Yna?" Adelina asked her as they ride a taxi, "I got a call earlier from a friend of mine that she wants to discuss something with me so I brought you along" she answered Adelina while combing her hair. "Why lady Yna?" Adelina is confused on why she was brought along by Yna, "Beasts, that is what she was saying" Yna answered as she took out her phone and showed Adelina the last text of her friend.

Yna, Lisa called me and she said that she wants to talk with someone, I will be heading to her and ask about this demons she keeps on saying, I think she was just hallucinating but she has some kind of proof and she will show it to me. I want you to come with me, let us meet at the bookstore I will just buy something there. Take care!

"The one texted me was Maki" Adelina looked at her as she said it. "So you think this demon and those foul creatures are just same?" Adelina asked her as Yna looks outside, "Yes, and I am wondering about this proof she has" she stated making Adelina hold her chin as she thinks. "I think she survived the attack and that is her proof" as Adelina said that, Yna looked at her with somewhat scared look. "I hope not, Lisa and Maki are my best friends since high school" Yna showed Adelina a photo of the three of them, "I have comrades from my world also but some of them perished already" Adelina stated making Yna frown. "Sorry to hear that Amy" she paused for some seconds then continues "You don't call them friends?" she asked her. "My parents where assassinated that is why I don't want to get attached so much to other comrade in arms I gain" as Adelina told this to Yna it made her realize that Adelina had some hard and lonely times in her world. "That was a sad story Amy" a tear drop fell from Yna, "You don't have to cry for my past lady Yna" Adelina gave her a warm smile.

Bookstore

"Yna!" a woman yelled from a distant, "Maki!" Yna rush and hugged her. "How are you?" Maki smiled as her eyes saw Adelina. "Who is she?" she then suddenly asked Yna, "That is Amy, my cousin" Yna said a lie to hide Adelina's true identity. "Oh hello Amy!" Maki greeted her then Yna coughed "Call her Lina", "So Amy was your nickname to her?" Maki laughed for she knows Yna's attitudes on nicknames. "Hello" Adelina greeted Maki with a gentle bow making Maki laugh "What is with that greeting? Are you a knight to have that kind of a greeting?" she smiled towards Adelina "No need for bows or any formalities, Okay?" she said as she held Adelina's hand and shake it.

Yna told Adelina some things to hide her identity.

1) She is Yna's cousin from another country

2) She will be called Lina

3) Don't be formal towards her

4) Never mention anything about being a soldier

5) Don't expose too much etiquette

6) Never call Richard "Lord"

7) She is a veterinarian

The three girls ate first before going to Lisa's place. Before they go Maki talked to Yna about how scared Lisa was when she was telling the story of what she experienced making Yna even more curious on what Lisa's proof. Adelina on the other hand felt something was different around Richard but she can't speak about it easily with Maki around.

Upon arriving at Lisa's house they noticed that the newspapers where still outside which is odd for Lisa is a journalist and news is her life. Maki knows Lisa's house better than Yna for the two of them hangs out with one another since the where in kindergarten. So Maki was able to open the gate of Lisa's house and went in, as they walked inside they started to smell stenches making Yna and Maki rush looking for Lisa and they saw her in her room sitting at a dark corner. "Lisa what happened to you?" Maki approached her as stench became stronger. "Maki?" Lisa asked as she looks towards to Maki, "What happened to you?" she embraced Lisa comforting her since she started to cry. "I was too scared Maki" she kept on saying that while crying on Maki's shoulder.

Yna and Adelina waited for Lisa to calm down as Maki takes care of her. "Wasn't expecting Lisa to be like this Amy" she said as she looks at the cabinet filled with trophies and awards for Lisa. "I think she really survived an attack" Adelina said in a very calm voice casing Yna to nod in agreement with her. "Sorry for making you wait Yna but I will give Lisa a bath first" Maki smiled yet with a very teary eyes. Yna just smiled and her hand signed that she just go on and get moving.

It is 1400H already when Maki and Lisa joined Yna and Adelina in the living room.

"Sorry for a very messed up image of mine earlier Yna" Lisa asked for her forgiveness.

"No sweat Lissy, I am just shocked seeing you like that" Yna said as she smiled towards Lisa.

"Well this what happened" Lisa paused then held Maki's hand as she nods to sign that she is just beside her.

Lisa told them that two days ago she was in the city library to gather some research as she heard someone screaming far in the back. That made the guards rush towards there even other people of the library. Just seconds after the guards rush in she starts to smell something was burning, with this she stood up and rush where the others went. There she saw a demon bright as light floating while someone was turning into white dust due to what she saw she rush away as fast as she could trying to warn a man she just bumped on to. Then in front of her the man sweated a lot then suddenly turned into white dust right before her eyes. The only thing that remained from that man was a piece of his sleeve that is being charred by light.

She then took it out and showed it to the other girls. "This is the proof I am talking about" Lisa starts to cry in fear as Adelina analyze the cloth.
