An extreme plan

While I work here in my office I noticed a cancelled document under the name of Jean Stuart. Being in an insurance company this got me curious and wanted to ask my boss. Luckily one of the heads is walking to the pantry making me follow her. "Morning ma'am" I greeted her with a smile, "Oh mister Richard Miller" she greeted me while making coffee. "Ma'am Candice may I ask you something?" I pause as she finishes making her coffee. "It s a cancelled document from a client naming Jean Stuart" I said as she sips from her mug. "That woman was found dead in her house" her statement shocked me, "The reason was unknown up to this very moment" she added. "Is that the reason why the document was cancelled?" I asked her before she leaves the pantry, "No, it was her family that requested it to be cancelled" she said then stopped walking "Miller, I want you to investigate this matter" she said "Don't mind about your paycheck and other works" she then added before I can even talk. "Starting today?" I asked her and she just nodded then she left the pantry. 

Candice Castro a former NBI but because of her mother is the real owner of this company she had no choice but to take over. Sometimes I work for her special tasks to investigate people, stalking is bad but that isn't stalking at all it is just an observing task. I get paid from it as well.

As soon as I get back to my work station I searched all details of Jean Stuart ignoring my other work. "Special task again?" a woman beside me ask. "Yes Halley" I answered her as she watch me work.

Halley Go a half Chinese that knows I have some special "tasks" from ma'am Candice herself, also a good co-worker for she also plays League of Legends.

As my data is complete left the office but made a call first to Yna, already three calls and she is still now answering so I just left her a message and proceeds to Jean's family.

Stuarts' House

As I arrive here I saw Jean's wake and gave her my respects before I continue to do my business here. "Are you Mrs. Stuart? Mother of Jean?" I asked a woman near the coffin, "Yes I am" she answered with her teary eyes. "Could we talk about something?" I showed her my business card to have a talk about the contract. She agreed and walked with me

"Sorry for suddenly cancelling the contract of my daughter" she apologizes first hand, "No, we understand but you could have used the money in that contract" I explained her and she just shook her head. "That money can help if the person involved with it died from an accident or natural cause" she said making me wonder, "My daughter was killed" she started to cry.

I try to comfort her when I got a call from Yna so I excused myself for a while to answer the call.

"Hey babe" I greeted her as I answered her call

"Hi babe, where are you?" she suddenly asked me

"I messaged you where I will be going" I sat down while observing Jean's mother

"I need to tell you something babe" Yna's voice became a bit serious causing me to be more attentive to her

She told me about Terry Hicks and his tale making me surprised. "So someone already encountered a beast two weeks ago before I even encountered them and even before Adelina arrived here?" having this conclusion it removed the part that they just arrived along with Adelina that we discussed after Maki's death in my room. "Then Amy has nothing to do with the beasts that suddenly appeared" she said while releasing a heavy sigh, "What is that sigh for?" I asked her. "It is nothing, I am just happy that Amy is really innocent" her voice became a bit lively than earlier.

"So I must warn Adelina about that flying creature then" I paused then continues "If that already killed a lot of people it might be extremely powerful already" I added that is when Jean's mother approached me. "Sir you said a flying creature?" she suddenly said that out of the blue.

"My daughter's final words was she saw a monster" she said making me look to the coffin of her daughter. "I thought it was just some kind of metaphor but hearing you sir makes me think it is not" she cried again, "Babe could you go here in a taxi? I will be the one to pay for it" after saying this I ended the call then messaged her the address and also that she should pick up Adelina before going here.

As I wait for Yna and Adelina outside I saw a balloon floating making me shake my head, "Poor kid" as I said that the balloon suddenly pops as if it was hit by something. This caused me confusion and wonder on what happened. Being lost in thought I felt someone tapped me on my shoulder and as I turn around it was Anthony, "Hey pal" he greeted me then I greeted him back. "What are you doing to my old classmate's house?" he suddenly asked me.

"Is your classmate's name is Jean?" I asked and he nods, "Also the woman I courted for about three years pal" he started to cry before me. "It is about work that is why I am here" I told him, "I recommended her the company you where working pal" he said making me smile. "Thanks for that and sorry for your lost" I pat his shoulder making him cry more. "It was five days ago already when I heard she died" he continues to cry "That is when I drunk myself and I saw what happened in the library" he added.

So Jean died at the exact day I first encounter the beast and Adelina?

"When her mother called me she said that Jean's last word was she saw a monster" Anthony suddenly held my shoulders. "That monster we saw in the library" he is now starting to shake me. "That must be the one who killed Jean!" as his voice starts to elevate Yna pulled him back. "Enough Anton" she said as Anthony shed more tears.

Pal that wasn't Jean's killer, If I can just say this to him, If that was her killer then there is no body to return, Wait? Body? Huh? Evil-willed eat their victims and Good-willed incinerates, Why there is a body? Something is wrong! What have happened? Why the body is in one piece?
