So first of all thanks for the lovely comments. I'm ecstatic to know so many people are invested and love this story. I hope you'll love the next chapter just as much.

The press conference passed by in a flash. The announcement had been made. if someone asked her what had been said, she wasn't sure if she could tell you.

Throughout she'd kept constant eye contact with Harry. She hoped by doing that, that she would be able to give him some strength. She'd noticed that when they broke eye contact he'd get it hard. she could hear the small voice change, only something she or Will and Kate would notice.

She was only a step behind Kate as they left the room and the moment she stepped through the door. Harry swept her up in his arms and he kissed the side of her head.

"Thanks, Love. For being there, giving me the strength I needed," he whispered in her ear, his arms wrapped around her. "Always," she whispered back, kissing the spot beneath his ear.

She quickly changed out of the dress and into her jeans and blouse. "So when's the next appointment?" Harry asked, taking her handbag from her. "September 13th, so three weeks from today," she told him with a smile.

"good," he told her, kissing the side of her head as they made their way out of SJP and back to Nottingham Cottage. Liv was fine to just hide there at this moment.

The two weeks leading up to the party went by rather quickly. Liv managed to get more control and do things with her left hand. It didn't leave her so incapacitated as she was in the beginning. She hated relying on other people. And the last few weeks had certainly had tested that part.

She was still having her bad days throughout it all, some were good, others were bad. Sometimes she'd jump when someone sneaked up on her. She'd jump at the slightest sound.

The nightmares would come and go, sometimes she would just sit there and cry. Others she would be happy and laugh. It really felt like she was swinging between two poles, but for now, that's all she had.

Harry and Liv switched from her place to his during the two weeks. Kate and Liv would continue to organise the surprising party for Harry, during it all. and Harry was none the wiser and didn't have a clue about it.

Kate had turned it up a notch and had conspired with his friends. So on his birthday, it would seem that everybody had forgotten his birthday. And like the little kid he was, he still looked forward to celebrating it with his friends and family.

Liv had ordered her gown online, probably the most expensive piece of clothing she'd ever bought. Kate had managed to convince her though that she would look great in it. And if she indeed switched to another brace, it would hide it. The medium cap sleeves would hopefully cover it completely.

Hopefully, she'd get it by Monday, it is delivered by Monday at Kate's delivery address. They'd ordered from the same store after all and it wouldn't raise suspicion with Harry.

Kate was also retrieving the RSVP's and she kept track of the guest list. Mia and Daphne would be arriving before the weekend. They'd essentially meeting the new friends the three of them had made in London.

Harry and Liv only continued to grow stronger and closer as time went by. But it wasn't like before and she was glad for that. It wasn't as if they were relying on each other to continue living.

Now they just loved each other, but they didn't need to in this constant contact or see each other. they had reached an understanding and this relationship was much healthier than what they had started with.
