Chapter 32

So first of all thanks for all your lovely comments on the previous chapter. I'm glad you liked it as much as you did. I hope you'll like this one as well. 

The six of them arrived in Verbier driven by a minivan. Liv couldn't keep herself from watching the snow falling down in a slow pace. The lights of the town lit up the valley there were in. If Liv had to give a description of what the town looked like it would be magical.

arriving at the cottage of their friend Richard Branson. The entire cottage would be there for the next few days except for the employees. She was really looking forward to spending some alone time with Harry and his brother and sister-in-law. Christmas had been a huge buzz of activity and she glad to be rid of it.

as a Christmas gift, three couples of her family had declared that they were moving to the UK as well. Apparently, they had been doing some real estate searching around the parish of Effingham. All of them would be living near and around Effingham.

on one side Liv was delighted that her grandparents would have their brother there and their best friends they considered family. on the other side, it would probably mean that her little peace and quiet haven wouldn't be so quiet anymore.

but for now, Liv was going to enjoy the privacy and luxury of the resort and just relax.

The next day just before New Year, Liv suggested the Cambridge's take a new years picture. The picture was quickly put on Twitter by Kate and Will, receiving positive comments.

Liv and Kate were had gone on a small shopping and exploring spree through the small town. They'd just arrived home and were unpacking their stuff whilst singing and dancing to the spice girls. The stereo was on full blast as they were dancing around the living room.

Harry's laughed belting above the noise of the music brought them out of their trance. Liv spun around and face a laughing Harry, her cheeks starting to blush in embarrassment.

"don't be embarrassed, Merida. I was enjoying the show." He chuckled as he walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her. "So did you girls have fun?" he asked, kissing the side of her neck before looking at Kate.

"of course we did." Kate grinned at him as she folded a sweater.

"I can imagine Love." he chuckled, kissing Liv's neck again.

"I love you," he whispered in her ear, kissing the side of her face before he turned her around in his arms and pulled her body against his. cupping her cheek he leant down and kissed her lips, leaving her breathless afterwards.

She heard Kate wolf whistle behind them and Liv dropped her head against his chest with a smile. "I love you too." she breathed out looking up again to peck his lips. When they broke apart this time she pushed him away. "now shuu, we need to unpack all of this so go and bother your brother or something." she swatted his ass, he threw her a cheeky grin over his shoulder, wiggling his bum at them, to both Kate and Liv's amusement.

The four of them were enjoying the moment as they leant over the balcony railing, looking over the valley of Verbier. Harry's arms locked her against the railing as they waited for the New year to start.

The kids were in bed and it was just the adults, a bottle of Champagne waiting just inside the chalet, waiting to be popped.

"So excited for the new year?" Will asked Liv, looking at her from where he had Kate locked against the railing.

"Yea I am. The new business getting started, the new procedures and everything changing at the company. I can't wait until February." Liv smiled, wiggling in Harry's arms from excitement.
