I apologise for what I'm about to tell you. I accidentally deleted a chapter which was supposed to be the balcony scene and such. I really apologise for this and I intend to rewrite it. But at the moment I don't have the time so I'm going to skip if for now. This will be the wedding reception and party. I hope you enjoy.
Climbing the candlelit stairs they reached the door of the Banquet Hall where their family, friends and guests were waiting. Kate, William, Camilla and Charles had already gone inside ahead of them.
And then it was up to them as the doors opened, a big applause bouncing off the walls as they entered. There it was filled with an enchanted forest theme. Trees were the centrepieces with candles in them. Flowers everywhere, it looks absolutely amazing and beautiful, she barely recognised the banquet hall.
Everyone was smiling and cheering as they were led to their table for the night. Around 30 tables were scattered around the room. "You look beautiful." her grandfather smiled as he reached the table. "Thank you," she whispered, kissing his cheek.
They were stood before their chairs and sat down. the courses passed on quickly through each other. The atmosphere was light, festive and happy as they ate their dinner. It wasn't long before the speeches started and Charles kicked it off as he got up.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I'm sure everyone knows me here." He chuckled as a chuckle went around the room.
"First I want to congratulate my son and new daughter with their beautiful wedding." He smiled, looking at Liv and Harry with a loving and proud smile on his face. "Secondly I want to welcome Olivia into our family. You really picked the one to be a part of." He joked as bursts of laughter went around the room at that statement.
"but that put aside, I'm sure you'll be an amazing wife to Harry here." he paused, looking at his son with a knowing look on his face. "Who we all thought in honesty would never find his match, but he did and we couldn't be happier with his decision." Charles paused, looking at Liv with a smile as she felt Harry squeeze her hand.
"I couldn't do this speech without mentioning an important and missing person here today." He said as he looked at his two son's and Liv squeezed Harry's hand underneath the table.
Kate and Liv shared a sad smile as well before they turned back to Charles. "Your mom would definitely have agreed with your decision Harry. I'm sure that if Diana was still here with us, Olivia and she would have given us more than a few grey hairs." He paused as those having known Diana chuckled and let their agreement be known.
"Certainly when she got to know the Liv that I have come to know in the last two years. Intelligent, caring, passionate, devoted, loving and all of the above. There simply aren't enough words to describe this lovely woman who I can now call my daughter as well." Charles said as she gave him a small emotional smile.
"I'll stop here now before I all bore you to death, let's cheer and congratulate this great couple. "To Harry and Liv," Charles said as they lifted their glasses up to toast them.
and then it was up to her grandfather who she gave a small encouraging smile. He hadn't done this and she could only imagine the nerves he would be feeling right now.
"Hello all of you here, I'm Willy, Olivia's grandfather those who don't know me." He said, nervously folding and unfolding the paper in his hands.
"first of all congratulations, it was a very stunning and emotional wedding, I think everybody here can attest to that," he noted as the room chuckled to that statement.
"We've come to known and accept Harry as a son. As Charles said, neither did we think Olivia would ever find her match. But we're very glad that she has found you, Harry." Gramps stated, looking at Harry who smiled at her grandfather before he looked at Liv and stole a quick kiss.
