Lucas dropped them off at her apartment where she quickly jumped into the shower, shaved her legs. Jumping out of the shower she dried her hair, put it up in a clip and did her make up.
it was all in a rushed manner that she pulled on a red dress with sleeves, black tights and ankle boots. she kind of regretted not coming home earlier now as she had to rush throughout everything to prepare for their dinner.
"You ready Merida?" Harry asked her, watching her rush from one thing to another from the settee in amusement.
"ready." she sighed, coming out of the bathroom, putting in her earrings.
"Come here," Harry said, extending his hand for her to take. he pulled her into his arms and kissed the top of her head. "We can still cancel you know," he told her looking down at her, ready for dinner.
"we could, but would it help us?" she asked him, tilting her head to the side in question. After all she had gotten ready in a rush to go out to dinner. She wasn't going to call and cancel now.
"Probably not." he agreed, pecking her lips. "Let's go then." he sighed as they made their way downstairs. she pulled one of her blazers from the hallway closet and they left the empty apartment. Everyone had gone out with their respective others.
Mia and her sister had decided to go out tonight. Seeing as both of them were single and didn't want to stay behind to wallow. Vases with flowers were everywhere in the living room and kitchen.
Liv thought it was funny that her place looked like that. It had always been barren. she couldn't keep flowers, cause she wasn't there to care for them. it was just a place to sleep between tours. Now, on the other hand, it was the centre of activity every day with three couples and two singles living there.
Her sister had now joined them as well, the commute from Effingham to London was becoming too much of a bother for her. Liv thanked her lucky stars that they had bought a bigger apartment on the upper floor of the apartment building. They would have eight bedrooms instead of only five. Each one of them had added a piece of their own money and then there was the fact that she had already bought this place. So they only needed to add a bit of money to the bit she had already paid.
She wasn't very much look forward to the move of that. Every room was filled with things, if the move of the office had been slow and tedious, this certainly would be.
But in the end, they would have a bigger apartment and more space, much to all of their relief.
Lucas dropped them off at the Wolseley restaurant and went inside. Jim hadn't wanted them to remain outside, waiting for Kate and Will.
only a couple minutes later Kate and Will joined them at their secluded spot and greeted one another. "you okay?" Kate asked her, hugging her.
"I'm getting there." she sighed, giving Kate an extra squeeze. The two women broke apart and she hugged Will.
***
The night had been pretty amazing. The four of them going out to dinner wasn't such a bad idea. Yes, the press had been there when they had left, but that was all. The Po's had shielded them from it and led them to their cars.
Liv definitely wanted a repeat of that in the near future. Just the four of them, no matter how much she loved George, Charlotte and the ever present Nathan, some adult time was great.
