So first of all massive thanks for all your lovely comments. I hope you'll enjoy the next chapter as well.
Liv couldn't help but smile as the familiar structure of Bali came into view. It had been a long flight, especially with young Nathan. He'd been a grump and tempered during the flight and short stop in Dubai.
Right now she was just happy that he had fallen asleep in the end. It had been his first time flying and apparently, his ears had been bothering him. Mia and she had been taking care of him during the entire flight as he sat between the two of them.
Jesse had been put between Pippa and Jens, but he hadn't really heard any trouble coming from that direction. She'd heard them play cards and Jens and Jesse were taking turns on the PSP trying to beat each other as Pippa laughed at their antics.
The moment however they set foot out of their plane and into the airport the humid air flew into their faces. Nathan was still half asleep in her arms as Mia carried her handbag. she adjusted him in her arms as he was getting a bit too big for her to carry him. "You tired, bud?" she asked looking down and kissing the side of his face.
she smiled as she felt and saw him give her a little nod. "We're almost there. You can continue your nap at the hotel," she told him as she felt a presence next to her. Glen smiled at her and nodded at her little brother. "You want me to take him. I can imagine your arms are getting tired," he told her as he reached his hands out.
"Would you?" she asked as he nodded and picked Nathan out of her arms as he carried him in his own arms. Nathan didn't seem too bothered by the chance as he snuggled into Glen's shoulder and took his thumb in his mouth.
One thing Liv had already asserted during the small travel here. She should be grateful for her friends. One by one, new and old were incredibly with her siblings, taking them on as their own. Her old friends had always done so, she didn't understand why or how it had come about. It just sort of happened, from the moment she had Mia the first one she had brought home. Then she'd taken Autumn, Jens along as well and it started from there really.
It seemed that her new friends, yes the script included for which she was kind of glad. They were incredible guys and she was delighted to call them her friends. They seemed to just carry on from what her longest friends had started. She didn't need to understand it, she was just grateful that it was.
The air was humid as we came from the plane. I had a grumpy Nathan on my hands after a 17-hour flight. "You tired, bud?" I asked as I carried him through the airport and he just nodded his head.
"We're almost there, you can take a nap at the house."
"You know he may seem small, but he's getting awfully heavy," she noted as she smiled at Glen in thankfulness. "Yea that was the same with Luke for me. Look at him now." he chuckled, nodding to his son walking in front of them, where he seemed to have a huge conversation with her little brother.
"Time moves quickly." she pointed out with a small tilt of her head. "That it does, sometimes I wish it would slow down a little." he giggled and she nodded her head in understanding as Mia joined her on her other side.
"handed him off?" Mia teased as she accepted her handbag. "Glen was kindly offering to take him over. he's getting heavy." Liv half teased back, half serious. "I know." she smiled at her. "It's no bother at all," Glen reassured the two women walking next to him.
he couldn't understand how quickly this bunch had taken him and his friends in this strange group of friends. Strange in a good way, they acted as if they were family, each carrying their own responsibility in it. Mark, Danny and him were excited and glad to have been accepted in this bunch.
