In the coast of Ice Kingdom...
Shuo Gang was training with Yan Da. The prince heaved as he was thrown backwards again.
"Someone got sloppy while I wasn't around," Yan Da stated, mocking him. Shuo Gang glared, attacking again. She quickly dodged it.
"Shuo Gang." She then stated firmly. He stopped, knowing that tone. "Did you forget what I thought you?"
He sighed, looking down. Remember, never let your emotions take control of you especially in a fight. "No. It's just that..."
"It's just that?"
He sighed once more, sitting on the nearest rock to them. "Do you think I could really do it? Rule the fire kingdom into greatness. There's a lot that I don't know. And...
.

.
you won't always be here." He finished, looking at her sadly. "When I was in the dream tribe, the old astrologer king told me who you really are. Where you're really from..."
"Shuo Gang," She began, kneeling in front of him. She then reached out, holding his hands in hers. "I may not be always here but there are others that will guide you. Others that will treasure you and love you as you are. You already met some of them. There's no perfect path. You'll stumble once in a while. You'll make mistakes but the important thing is you learn from them and become the best man that you can be. I believe in you. So, you have to believe in yourself too."
~~~
Her words echoed in the throne room, making the people in there think. Making them question their decisions in life and such. The others held the one of the people who had been there for them. Silently thanking them.
Shuo Gang's heart was filled with warmth when he heard her words. He really needs to change a lot of things. Honestly, right now, he missed her, feeling a bit jealous of his other self. The one who experienced his sister's real self and learned from her teachings.
~~~
The prince sobbed, hugging her. He would really miss her once she's gone. She was his miracle. The one who gave him hope and purpose to live. "I love you." He stated.
Yan Da smiled, returning the hug. "I love you too."
A shocked gasped then disrupted them. Their heads snapped to where the sound came from. There on the side was the mermaid princess.
"Lan Shang..." Shuo Gang began but she hurriedly turned around and left.
Yan Da don't know if she'll laugh or not at the situation. Her brother's expression made her not to, though.
"You like her." She stated. His blush confirmed it. "You better go and explain it to her properly."
Hearing that, the prince left.

Lan Shang angrily pulled her dress up. "Stupid dress. Why did you have to be so long!?" It hindered her walking. She stopped, wiping the tears in her eyes harshly. She bit her lip, trying not to cry. It hurt. Why did she had to witness that?
~~~
Flame subtly moved, looking at his bride-to-be and his son. He hid a smirk when he saw the two's gaze met but then shyly looked away from each after. He chuckled in the inside.
He knew that his son had feelings for the mermaid princess. He saw the eagerness in his eyes when he announced that his tribe and the mermaid tribe would be united but then that eagerness turned to disappointment when Shuo Gang heard that it's him who was going to marry Lan Shang.
He'll keep quiet for now. It's interesting. It's not only Yan Da who's being revealed but more like all of them.
~~~
"Lan Shang!"
"Why did you follow me!?" She growled, glaring at Shuo Gang. He put his hands up in surrender.
"Please listen to me first." He pleaded. "You didn't hear the whole thing." She looked skeptical. She was hurt before. Can he really let this other guy do it to her too?
"Please." Shuo Gang said again breaking her resolve. She nodded.
"But you better not lie to me. Or else." She growled.
He smiled, putting his hands down. "There's nothing for me to lie about." He said. The two then walked towards the castle where they could talk properly.
