Yan Da smiled as she watched Shuo Gang shyly kiss the mermaid princess on the cheek. She followed them after a while since she was worried that her brother would mess up apologizing somehow. However, it seems like she's wrong he handled it pretty well.

"So, are you going to stand there and stare at me or are you going to say anything?" She then said, eyes shifting a bit towards the pillar not far from her.

Ka Suo sighed. "I came here to apologize. I'm sorry."

She faced him. "I'm fine. But the one you probably have to talk to is Ying Kong Shi."

"I already did." He said, winching. Yan Da stifled a laugh when she noticed his injuries. "It didn't go well huh?"

"It didn't start well." He corrected. Their gaze then met. A second later and the place was filled with their laughs.

The light atmosphere changed suddenly, though, when the sky turned dark and screams of pain came somewhere in the ice kingdom. The two looked at each. Quickly, they went to see the others.

~Time Skip~

The former white and pure ground of the ice kingdom was now soaked with blood. Few bodies could be seen lying on the ground. Cold and lifeless.

Phoenix launched a surprised attack, catching them all off guard. When Ka Suo and Yan Da learned that it was him they moved fast. Li Luo, Lan Shang and Shi were all put in the most protected room since they weren't really able to fight. Ka Suo sent a quick message to the other tribes.

Shi clung to Yan Da when she was about to leave, stopping her.

"Ying Kong Shi." She uttered, crouching down.

"Promise me." He said, framing her face with his little hands. "Promise me that you'll tell him."

Yan Da closed her eyes. This is their good bye. She opened her eyes, meeting his expecting gaze. "I promise." She then said, pulling him in her arms hugging him tightly one last time.

She kissed his forehead, sealing the promise. "Good bye my little prince."

"Good bye." He said in a broken voice, letting her go. It was difficult. She was his only friend.

~~~
The throne room was filled with so many emotions. Some were crying because of the emotional good bye that they have witnessed. They could still see Little Shi looking at Yan Da's leaving figure. His hands were on his chest, breaking their heart.
Some were livid because of the attack. Li Luo was one of them. She knew some of those people who were lying down on the ground lifeless. Feeling her pain, Ka Suo didn't hesitate to hold her.
Shuo Gang and the others were feeling mixed emotions. If possible, they would go in there and fight with Yan Da but they couldn't so they took hold of the thing closest to them and held it tight.
~~~

An evil laugh filled the air, fueling Shuo Gang's anger. He spat the blood in his mouth, charging once more at the person who killed his family. Phoenix quickly deflected it. "Heh. Is that all that you can do?"

Shuo Gang didn't answer he just kept on attacking, following Yan Da's voice in his head. She told him the points he needed to focus on to activate the seed she planted on him. A parasitic plant that would kill the wild bird instantly, feeding on his blood and powers.

Meanwhile with Yan Da...

She smiled in victory as Sui fell down. Dead. She met the eyes of the woman who helped her. "Tell me. Why?"

Fiest smirked. "I hate them. I always did."

"If Phoenix finds out?" Yan Da asked. Fiest gave her a bitter smile. "Then let it be. I had enough of his greediness and harsh ruling. He took everything from me and I gave it because I loved him but it's stops now."

Yan Da gave her an empathetic smile. "I understand. That's brave of you." The other gave her a sincere smile. "We should go and help the others."

Yan Da nodded, readying herself.
