Yan Da hid a smile when she noticed Xing Gui's hesitation. She wanted to ask her something. "What is it?"

"How did you know that it wasn't Ge?"

"Xing Jiu is a great seer and a good king but beside those two he's a great brother. So, suspicion rose within me when he only focused on "warning" me and not even once did he ask about you. Besides, if he could do that, why did he come to me instead of you? You two have been separated for so long. He wouldn't miss the chance to see you."

Xing Gui nodded in understanding, looking at her in amazement. The admiration she felt for her grew. She bit her lip. Is she still single? If she is, maybe she could set her up with brother? A small smile curved her lips. Eyes focused on Yan Da. She would be a good queen for him.

Blush graced Xing Jiu's face even his ears were red. Xing Gui's thoughts were clearly heard by everyone. The others were looking at him, stifling a laugh. The situation was really amusing.

Yanda's words touched him though. He didn't know that she thought of him that way. His eyes went to her. A sigh escaped his lips. He always reprimanded himself for secretly liking her but now...

He smiled. He didn't regret it.

In the forest, blood coated the floor. The figure on the ground was barely breathing. He was unconscious and a bottle containing a message was beside him.

Yan Da's eyes widened in horror when she saw him. The bottle opened as she approached the figure.

She destroyed the bottle in anger. He was clearly mocking her. telling her that she wouldn't win no matter what. That this is only a game to him.

She smirked. Let him be. That would be his downfall. She then carefully held Xing Jiu's form in her arms, giving him a bit of her energy.
