My Paradise- Part 10

"Go get me a door."

"No!" Our conversation has been lasting for hours. It's not even a conversation, more like two children, going back and forth- not giving-up till the other one does. Well I'm not giving up.

"You still haven't told me what you are doing here." I'm getting really agitated.

"I said it is none of your concern." He is breaking. His voice is no longer calm and controlled. I'm winning, and I will get what I want. I will break him.

"Tell me what you are doing here. Why did you return?" At this point, I lower my head, this will hopefully make him think I'm about to give-up and he will spare some information. I can keep at this game for hours. Bring. It. On.

"Don't I always come back to check on you?" Huh. He replied to my question with a question, he is growing tired. Move queen to take knight and threaten king. Knights are always easily killed by queens.

"Yes, yes you do. But you never tell me why. So thank-you for that reminder, now why do you visit me everyday, and why are you here NOW?!" Haha- this is getting fun. My shield is hard to break.

"Sigh. Miss, why are you so curious?" I'm wearing him down. Strike one.

"If one would not be curious, then one would not have knowledge." I forget where this quote comes from, but it's another strike. Because the guard's body shifts awkwardly for a long time before he speaks.

"Well to bite...never mind.. SoomSoome knowledge is not for everyone." Stumbling over words- CHECK! Strike three- you're outta here! Time to call out. This is going to be fun!

"So you're saying people shouldn't ask questions? People shouldn't be curious because "some knowledge isn't for everyone? Maybe you shouldn't stop by if you don't want to be bugged with questions."

"But you are missing a door. Aren't you afraid of getting robbed or spied on?" Now he's freaking out, because his boss wants a word for word review, and my last statement could jeopardize his job,

" I asked you to get me a door and you said no. For a guard you are not that smart." Scorch! His boss won't like that.

"Well as along as I am here, you have nothing to worry about. So therefore, you need no door." He said with annoying calmness and control. Okay, I've had enough of this guy!

"THE ONLY THING I HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT WHEN YOU ARE HERE- IS YOU! If I had a door right now, I'D SLAM IT IN YOUR FACE!" At this he freezes, he body so rigid and still, filled with tension that he could no longer control- I finally won, I broke him. Then he replies.

"WHICH IS WHY YOU HAVE NONE!" He shouts it as if he was shouting at a deaf person and he was trying to get them to hear his deeply angered voice.

"Really now?"

"I must depart now."

"No stay awhile. It is not as if you haven't wasted enough of my time already."

"Goodbye Miss."

"Yeah. Have. A . NICE. Day!!!!" With this he departs. That was annoying. How long did we talk? FOUR HOURS??!!!! That was a waste! Well now what I am to do? I can't sleep-to hyper. I'm not hungry- hunger gets conquered by anger- and I am totally, completely, one-hundred percent, bored. There is always something to do outside. So I decide to go outside, to watch nature.

The sky is cloudless blue, the sun's heartbeats grace my face, and the grass is velvety soft to sit on. I lie down onto the grass and smile into the sunshine. A cool breeze blows in and everything is placid, except for me. I am manic. With anger and frustration pulsing through my veins, fueling my heartbeat, causing my brain not to be settle. The setting does not match my mood, and is annoying me badly. Why is that, when you are mad, your setting almost never matches?
