The next day, Butch was still dozing in his bed when a very excited Lightning raced in and started jumping up and down on him. "Wake up, Butch! Wake up!" he exclaimed with a squeal. "We gotta get to the hangar!"
Grumbling, Butch just rolled over and pulled the covers over his head. "Ugh. Lightning, I don't wanna get up right now," he moaned. "Can you at least give me 5 more minutes?"
"Sorry. Can't. Matt's orders," Lightning said as he zipped off.
Sighing, Butch just rolled off the bed onto the floor, still feeling groggy. "Honestly, Lightning," he grumbled as he and his friends started off towards the hangar, "did you really have to jump on me to wake me up?"
"Had to," Lightning replied. "Matt told me to wake you up, like, about a minute or two ago."
Butch seemed rather annoyed. Matt rolled his eyes. "Beats having to accidently sleep through the day," he said simply.
Sheree just giggled softly at hearing Matt's answer. Her dress was a little different-it was now a simple green one with sleeves that reached down to the top of her elbows. The skirt, which reached down almost to the ankle bone, was a light one that fluttered in the soft breeze. Her hair was still in their usual short high pigtails, and her flats shone green in the sunlight. All around the skirt, the sleeves, and the top was a lovely pattern of different flowers, and the group's racing number, #5, was sported on the right sleeve. "Honestly," she finally said, "I can't wait to see what the results are. Don't you agree, Matthew?"
"Yep," he said. "Although I'm not exactly getting my hopes up to high."
"Understandable," Sheree said with a nod of her head.
When they got there, Butch was still trying to get all the sleep out of his eyes when the door opened, starling him enough to not be sleepy anymore. Out of the dark and into the light walked Creech. But she looked different. Her dress was like Sheree's except the pattern was a plaid one and had a white #7 on the right sleeve part of the pretty blue material. Her flats sparkled a brilliant deep blue and her pale green hair, which looked like it'd grown a little longer, seemed to wave a little in the breeze. And around her neck was a beautiful golden locket that her mother had given her on her eighth birthday. It's single diamond sparkled brightly in the sunshine as though it were polished. "So, what do you think?" she asked as her cheeks turned pink.
"C-Creech," Sheree stammered with a speechless voice. "Y-you look beautiful."
Rapunzel, who had come out at that moment, smiled. "Yep. Looks like all our hard work on that dress paid off," she said happily as Megara and Tiana appeared beside her. "You look great, Creech."
"Fantastic!" Lightning said with a laugh. "Feels freeing, doesn't it?"
"Yeah," Creech said with a merry laugh as she spun around, her skirt puffing a little. "You took the words right out of my mouth."
As soon as she boarded her sailcraft (which had the sprayer removed as well as a new paint job and sail), she hopped on it, started the engine, and took off. All at once, she was thrilled. She was flying faster than it ever had before! At that moment, Dusty flew alongside, having gotten his own upgrade. The others watched below as the two siblings raced each other across the sky. Sheree couldn't help but grin. "Heh. Kinda like back in Radiator Springs racing with Doc, huh Matthew?"
"Yeah, something like that," Matt said, eyes watering as he started to recall old memories.

Soon, the races took off for the third leg, which would take them from Germany to India. Part of that course was flying low through the mountains. If you went any higher than the height indicated, you were instantly disqualified. As the race went on, Dusty and his siblings found themselves passing racer after racer as they weaved through the hills. By the time they landed at the air base in Agra, they had made the biggest move in history-last place all the way up to eighth! Of course, being arrogant and selfish, Scar, Zira, and Ripslinger were jealous at all the attention that their "farm rivals" were receiving. "I can't believe this is actually happening," growled Scar.
