Chapter 24: Graduation Ceremonies (Mariah and Ryder)

A/N: Just go along with it i know we didn't have any flashbacks for Ryder but they are along the same road as Mariah's so I apologize not sorry even though it means the same thing. I watched some war movies all day yesterday like Full Metal Jacket.

* Matt's POV *

 Graduation, graduation, my little girl is graduating. Oh well, next it will be Ryder in two years.It is the whole part of growing up. I graduated, Ang graduated, and so is Taylor, Jacob, Cameron, Carter, Matt, Jack and Jack, and everyone but Hayes yeah that is right. I think anyways. 

When we get to the gym, I see Shawn waving for me to come over to Nash, him, and the rest of the graduating Magcon peeps. They were really excited to finally be done with high school. If it was me now at this time again. I would be happy too again.

Then I say, "Shawn we should go and sit down. We are expecting those flower things that they give out every year. I'm kidding but it would be nice if it was for Ang." They nod their heads and go to get lined up for their entrance. Then you hear Mariah, Taylor, Nash, and the rest start laughing. I looked to see what they were laughing at and it was because Mariah ran into the door. I know it wasn't on purpose though but it is quite hilarious.

I sit down by Shawn and the music starts playing. The band play Pomp and Circumstances. They did a really good opening to it. Then you see Magcon and Mariah come down. They planned all of this out for some reason. Then it was the rest of the graduating class. They came out in pairs of two.

The first thing they did was the class history. Cameron, Nash, Mariah, Taylor, and Carter said everything about their class history. They talked about what happened that year and who came or left the class. It was pretty long. Then they sang their class song. All you could really hear was Taylor, Jack and Jack,  Mariah, and Kennedy (one of Mariah's friends).

Then it was all over and it was party time. Everyone of the graduates has to line up and give hugs to people first then the partying begins.

* Angie's POV *

 I wish I didn't have to work today. I wanted to watch my child get her diploma and get the flower she was gonna give to me. I hate my boss right now. He decided to send me to Hong Kong yesterday. It is not very cool her it is but it's not. I just wantto rip my boss's head off, right now.

* Matt's POV *

I wait for everyone along with Shawn. When all of the hugs are done, we go to my house and bring out lots of chairs. Then we open up the gates to Ang's parent's house to make more room. It is pretty big and they are bringing out all of the food. Then you see Taylor and Nash getting ready to go and surf. Nash walks up to Mariah and picks her up and grabs her surf board. He then brings her to the water and throws her in. You hear everyone start laughing at them. They laugh along though. They don't care at all. They probably should though, I take that back.

Then everyone starts piling into the back yard and most of the kids are in the ocean swimming or surfing. They look like they are having a good time at least. I like seeing that. Everyone eats the food, then the whole class that graduated came here and brought their food. They also brought all of their guests.I guess there party was really boring over at theirs. Then I rethink it and Mariah invited them over here. The party type thing ended early this morning like six am. I think it was around there but I'm not sure at all.

Everyone seemed to have a great time. I see Taylor, Mariah, and Nash are sleeping on each other. That was a little awkward to see. I would have really liked it if Taylor and Mariah were dating instead of Nash and Mariah. I don't know why though.

When everyone wakes up, I hold the garbage bags up and hand them to everyone. They moan and complain about being hungry. They literally ate like two hours ago. It surprises me sometimes. I know it shouldn't but it does. Mahogany goes to Mariah and whispers something in her ear. I'm self conscious about that. It always turns out to be something bad. Mariah comes and says,"Does Taylor like me? Everyone is wondering that." I shake my head yes. Then she smiles at me and says, "Ok, thank you.." Then she goes over to Mahogany and they start talking about it. 

Taylor over heard them and came to me. He said with anger in  his voice and I could see steam coming out of his ears,"Did you tell Mariah I like her? No, it is more than like. It is like a crush that I have had for five years now." I shake my head yes uncontrollably and say, "Well she smiled and looked back over to Mahogany and winked at her. Once I said yes to her question." Then he  left and walked over to Jaco and talked to him. 

Once everrything was cleaned up. Well, I let them eat food. I was gonna make them eat dog food but I should have. I should have fed them dog food. That was a great idea that I didn't use. It isn't to late is it. Yes, it is to late. Well darn anyways, next time I will feed them dog food. I need to buy some first though. I have gat a devious mind going on. I hate it and it is very annoying. Just make it stop, please.

** Skips two years and goes on to Ryder's graduation stuff **

* Angie's POV *

 At least I get to go to Ryder's graduation. I didn't get to go to Mariah's because of my stupid boss that sent me to Hong Kong. I swear she is out to get me and make me emotionally break down because I'm not her favorite friend in high school. 

Matt and Mariah couldn't come because they are both on Magcon. Which is amazing. I am so happy for them especially Mariah she is dating Taylor now not Nash. That is good. Nash and Mariah broke up a week after their graduation.

Once the music of Pomp and Circumstances all of the class came out really fast but they had a really big class. So, it was okay for them. His class is very close and they are like siblings. They are all having the party at my house like Mariah's. She is so kind.

* Matt's POV *

I get a picture from Angie and it is of Ryder walking down the walkway thing. She told me to show it to Mariah so I did. Her reaction was laughing, then she said, "I remember walking down that thing of whatever it is called." Then I nodded and laughed at her. She got a expression on her face like what the fucj is wrong with you. I shrugged my shoulders and kept on laughing.

* Angie's POV *

I am really happy that my son is finally graduating. I feel like I tear up but I know that I wouldn't tear up. This is just a big accomplishment for him. They go on with the class history, then the class song, and then it is done. The whole ceremony is done. Then they have to do all of the hugs. So, I head out over to my house and open the gates and set out all of the chairs. Then I got out the food that I had to make.

Everyone starts piling up into the back yard and they all eat. The class and some younger kids go swimming and surfing. That is always fun and all that stuff.

When the party is over they all clean up there stuff and the big mess in the back yard. Then I get a call from Mariah 

M: Hey, mom I got some big news!!!

A: Hey, what is it?!

M: Taylor proposed to me in front of everyone on the stage in front of all of our fans Magcon fans.

A: Congrats girl I bet you were a bit embarrassed

M: Not at all Tell Ryder I miss him and tell him the news bye love you

A: bye love you too and okay I will

Then I hang up and I tell him what Mariah said and he smiled. Then he said, "Yass, now they will have mini thems and they will be twice as loud. Sucks to be you right now." I guess I never thought of that before.

Author's Note

I know I said I was gonna update early this morning but I got distracted a lot. So sorry, love me. I went to a party and got drunk just kidding. This story will have about 20 more chapters maybe a little more and I will not write a sequel to it unless you really loved it. I have other books to work on too so I will not update for a little while either. So yeah, maybe I will update one more time before I take a break from this one for a little  bit. Vote and comment and tell other people to read this book.
