Chapter 18: Baby-Sitting and Best Friend

* Mariah's POV *

 I can't wait until I go to Kori's house this weekend. I don't have to help set up decorations with mom and dad, and Shawn and Jewel either. This is going to be fun. Kori and I rarely ever hang out anymore but she is stilll my best friend and I'm hers. That is forever and always. 

I arrive at Kori's house and I see her out on the porch with her mom. Her Mom and Dad recently went through a devorce and I feel sorry for her. My mom says, "Bye, love you. Don't have to much and go to sleep before midnight well at least try to anyways. Bye." I answer back over dramatically, "Okay, then. Bye, no promises. I love you too." Then she just smiles at me and I laugh at her. That is the sort of bond I have with my mom.

When I reach the edge of the steps I'm greated with a big hug. I can't breath when she gives me hugs. I start tensing up and my breathing slows. Then when she finally lets go of me and I have my hands on my knees. I am breathing so heavily and taking in deep breathes. She just keeps on laughing at me because I am a little over dramatic at times.

* Kori's POV *

I love my best friend Mariah. We never hang out at school but we walk home together. We are neighbors sort of. We live on the same block at least. She came over so then she could get out of putting decorations up for Ryder's party. I totally wouldn't want to do that either. I am glad she could come over.

When she reached the first step I gave her a death hug. That is what she calls them but I love giving themm to people. When i let go of her she bent over really dramatically and breathed heavily. I love her fo that. She is a very good actor but she says she isn't.

I take her inside and she looks at me like it is nice to be here again. I took her into my bedroom and asked, "Is Nash and Hayes gonna be at your house and at Ryder's birthday party?" She nodded her head yes. Then I did my happy dance around the room.

* Nash's POV *

When we get inside the house, Hayes and I are all in shock at how long it has been since we were in here last. It has changed a lot. I mean like a lot and a lot. It looks bigger and there is more space. I think that must be the work of Angie there because Matt would never be able to pull this off.

Then after I set my coat down, I am attacked by Ryder. I say, "Well if it isn't the one and only Ryder. The little man in Matt and Angie's world. The pain in the butt of the family. The trouble-maker." Then he starts laughing and he hugs me and Hayes.

* Hayes's POV *

Nash says, "Well if it isn't the one and only Ryder. The little man of Matt and Angie's world. The pain in the butt of the family. The trouble- maker." Then Ryder hugs us and he  is laughing. He won't stop laughing for a while but oh well. That is what we are here for. To make him laugh and keep him occupied. This is gonna be easy.

Then he pulls us to the living room where Sponge Bob is on. I say, "I remember watching this when I was little." Then Ryder's face lights up and he is like really. He can speak but he doesn't know how to put his words in his mouth (A/N: that didn't make sense but you get it right if not comment and ask).  The first thing I do here I take out my phone and take a picture of Ryder. I post it to Twitter and say "I'm with this little guy and Nash at Angie and Matt's house". It imediately get 600 favorites, 8000 retweets, and 750 comments. I was happy.

Author's Note

Hey, Bears I think I need a better thing to call you guys. I am thinking about ending this book soon. I might make a sequel to it if you guys want me to. Comment and favorite if you want me to go longer. If you want I can make a sequel just comment make a sequel. If you want me to keep on writing then make a sequel later on or not just comment what you want me to do. This is a shorter but longer chapter. It is different not really. I hope you guys enjoy.
