They were chasing me... he was chasing me. I knew what I had done and trust me I hated myself for doing it.He was hot on my trail as I rounded the store corner and straight into an alleyway. "Shit, I'm screwed." I muttered to myself. I continued to run until I had nowhere to run. I heard the footsteps get louder and my breathing picked up as adrenaline was exploding through my veins. I didn't know what to do as their figures came into view. I cannot go anywhere now they are too close.

"Henry, look at the little whore!" The one and only Patrick Hocksetter laughed.

"Yeah, Pat I see her." Henry scoffed.

I whipped my head around and said the first thing I thought of, "Fuck you and your little gang Bowers!"

"What did you just say, Amber? I must not have heard you correctly." Henry challenges.

"I said, fuck. you. Bowers. Did you hear me that time?" I challenged back. (One thing to know about me is that when I'm afraid my mouth likes to run on and on.)

"Oh girly, you are going to get it!" Patrick points out.

Henry glared at Patrick and told him to, "Shut the hell up." I just stood there, the adrenaline finally kicking in. I looked at the possibilities escaping. I started to run and ran straight past Henry. I tried to dodge Patrick but failed and ended up flying backward, sliding on the jagged asphalt.I started to get up and saw that Patrick was charging straight at me. Patrick moved to kick me in the stomach. He began beating me and with every hit or kick it sent nauseating pain through me. My vision was becoming blurred and my headache was worsening by the minute.

"Enough Patrick." Henry said cooly.

"But, I'm not finished teaching her a lesson!" Patrick whined continuing to kick me with medium force over and over again.

"Patrick, I said enough! Henry roared getting more annoyed by the second.

Patrick stopped beating me and said to nobody specific "Maybe that will put her in her place, she deserved what she got." Henry looked at me one last time as I got up and with that, he left.
