(Not an X Reader!) Amber Kade would do anything and everything to keep her friends safe, but she also didn't know what she was getting herself into when she met Henry Bowers.

Brrrriiinnngggg! I heard my alarm go off and I grabbed it then slammed it down on the dresser to get it to turn off.Oh great, Monday. I absolutely hate Mondays because it is a freedom breaker (meaning we have to go back to school.) I lazily got out of bed and headed to the bathroom for my morning routine. I came out, went downstairs and turned on the t.v to have a little bit of background noise as I made myself french toast and sunny side up eggs. I ate and went back upstairs to brush my teeth. I came back downstairs and shut everything off, then started walking to school.As I walked I heard the sound of a car engine revving, "fuck" was my only thought, and sure enough, when I looked over I saw Henry Bowers' blue Pontiac Firebird speeding down the street. I continued walking to school as his Pontiac passed me. I had finally gotten to school and saw the losers getting ready to walk in.
"Hey!" I called and smiled. They all turned and looked at me.
"Hey, babe." Richie joked.
"Yeah, sure, you couldn't get this even if you tried." I gestured to my body while laughing. All of the losers laughed and Richie looked upset that I embarrassed him.
"Hey, Rich I was just joking.I'm sorry." I sighed and gave him a hug to which he returned.
"You guys I have to go, love yous!" I called as I walked away to my locker.
I made my way through crowds of teens and to my locker, I opened it grabbed what I needed and headed to English. I got to the classroom and set my stuff down to read as students were flowing through the door. Gretta came in, saw me, smirked and walked over.Then, she slapped the book out of my hand in which at that point I was angry. "Bitch." I mumbled as I picked up the book and set it on the desk.
"What did you say, Amber?" Gretta spoke.
" I said you're a bitch. I am soo tired of you and your little sluts, seriously grow up, do something with your life instead of sitting on your ass all day!" I yelled at her. The whole class gasped in shock and she got in my face acting as if she was going to do something. "I suggest you get out of my face, you smell like bullshit." I spat, venom lased in my words.
"What are you going to do about it, Kade?" She spat back. I shoved her backward and she slipped over the chair and fell right on her butt. The whole class laughed even the teacher. She just sat there and looked shocked staring up at me as I sat back down."Have a nice day." I taunted. As time passed I could feel Gretta glaring at me, but I just ignored her. The bell rang and I walked to my next class which was academic prep, that was an easy class that flew by quickly. I got into the class and sat down next to Harper, the teacher came in and told us to use this time to study or make up any work we had. I plugged my headphones into my phone and talked with Harper while listening to music, then I started thinking about an assignment that will be due on Friday. I glanced around the classroom and saw that the teacher had fallen asleep while reading, I showed Harper and laughed. The bell finally rang and I walked to my locker to put what I didn't need away.

It was lunchtime and I met up with the losers to go outside and eat. We all got our lunch then went to the regular spot to find that Bowers was in our spot, the others noticed too.
"Amber they are in our spot." Eddie scoffed.
"No dip Sherlock!" Richie exclaimed.
"B-both o-o-of you stop i-it." Bill broke in.
"Well, how about today we eat in the grass?" I suggested hoping not to have to get involved with Henry.
We all sat in the grass and ate while talking about what we did over the weekend when I had a great idea. I got up and poked Richie, "Tag you're it!" I exclaimed running. The others got up and started to play. At this point, Bill was it and currently chasing after me. I tripped over my foot and fell on my face, "Ow fuck!" I exclaimed as a searing pain was jolting through my face.
"A-Amber are you o-ok?" Bill asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine Billy." I addressed as I felt a warm liquid under my nose. I lifted my fingers to my face and sure enough, my nose was bleeding quite profusely. I walked back to where the rest of the losers were and Eddie started to freak out.
"Eddie calm down." I said calmly.
"I- you need to disinfect that!" Eddie exclaimed reaching into his fanny pack.
"Eddie I'm fine I just need tissues." I uttered, Eddie, realizing he was not going to win the argument, handed me tissues. "Thanks" I replied. I glanced over to where the Bowers gang was and saw Henry staring at me, he must have watched the whole thing, great!
Lunch was over and it was time to go to Social Studies, another easy class. Time flew by pretty quick as the period was almost over, the teacher just kept rambling on about things I already knew and then the bell rings.
"Sit down class, the bell doesn't dismiss you, I do." The teacher piped. The class sat down and she gave out a study guide for an easy test, then dismissed us. I walked to my locker and put my stuff away when I heard a scream.
