I got up at around 6:30 Am, but I leave at 7:30 Am. I usually don't like to wake up earlier than I have to but today I feel energized. I got out of bed and got ready and by that point, it was 6:50. I went down stairs to find my mom... just wonderful.

"Amber why the hell are you here? Aren't you supposed to be at school?" She slurred.

"Number one I live here and number two, no, I leave at 7:30." I told her.

"Well get the hell out, I have a friend coming over." She stated.

"No, like I said I live here too." I challenged.

"Yeah but I can kick you out." She smirked.

"Actually no you can't I am a minor and I would have no other place to go." I stated flatly.

"Does it look like I give two shits?" She questioned acting childish.

"Fucking prostitute." I muttered loud enough for her to hear as I started making my way to the door.

"What did you just say?" She growled.

"I said you're a fucking prostitute!" I screamed at her. I was then slapped across the face and fell on the floor. I'm glad that most of the time she is not here.

"Don't ever speak to me like that!" She screamed back at me.

I got up and walked out the door grasping my cheek. "I did bring it upon myself that time" I mumbled. I walked down the street and looked at the time noticing it was only 7:15. I continued to walk to school knowing that I was going to be early and I didn't want to be. I really didn't want to go to school today because of what happened yesterday. I decided that I was going to apologize to Henry and ditch the rest of the day. As I saw the school in the distance I felt someone behind me. I turned around and screamed, It was just Stan. Stan started to laugh, "Man, you should have seen your face." Stan chuckled.

"Gee thanks for giving me a heart-attack." I bleated.

"Sorry." He acknowledged.

"It's ok." I answered.

"Anyway, why are you here so early?" Stan asked.

"My mom kicked me out, said she was having a "friend" over." I scoffed.

"Seriously why don't you just leave?" Stan suggested.

"B-because I wouldn't have any other place to-to go..." I sighed, realizing I was about to cry and couldn't stop myself. Tears just started falling and I just couldn't do anything about it.I felt arms wrap around me and I was embraced by Stan.Stan rubbed my back while I sobbed on his shoulder. "It's ok Amber, she isn't there most of the time so it doesn't matter, she can go fuck herself." Stan soothed and closer to the end became a bit angry. I pushed back from his embrace and kissed him on the top of his head. "Thank you, Stan, you are the best guy friend I ever had." I smiled.

"No problem Amber." Stan reassured.

I turned around and started to walk inside the school when I spotted Henry, who was staring at me. I went to walk over when I was shoved by Gretta, I got up and looked to where Henry was and he was gone. "Shit, thanks, Gretta." I muttered under my breath and walked into the school to find Henry. I walked down most of the hallway and finally saw him. I ran all the way over to him, I was only a few feet in front of him when I was blocked by Victor and Patrick.

"And where do you think you're going, missy?" Patrick taunted.

"It's none of your business Patrick!" I yelled.

"Actually it is our business because we don't need you beating on our friend." Victor scoffed.

"Whatever, I need to get through." I told them as I tried to get through once again. I was thrown back by Patrick, I hit the floor and yelped as an acute pain shot through my spine. Henry shoved both Victor and Patrick out of the way and I saw the damage that I caused.

"What do you want Kade?" Henry Seethed and his facial expression was full of anger.

"I-I just wanted to say I-I'm sorry..." I confessed.

"What, what did you just say?" Henry's facial expression softened.

"I shouldn't have done that to you, I should have just shoved you off not beat you till you pass out." I went on, avoiding his eyes.

"It's ok, I guess but this doesn't mean we are best friends" Henry blurted.

"I get it." I called as I walked off with my hands in my pockets.
