I went downstairs and made breakfast for myself. Then I went and turned on the t.v, which had been left on the news. Another missing kid, it seems like everytime a new kid goes missing the old one is forgotten. I turned the t.v to a station that was playing The Breakfast Club, I ate my breakfast and left. I walking down the street and saw missing kid posters, as I was thinking about the missing kids I heard Henry's Pontiac in the distance. I just kept walking, "I don't need him." I whispered to myself.

Henry's POV:

I saw Amber in the distance as I sped up my Pontiac, I didn't care anymore. I kept thinking about the last night we spoke, and I comforted her. "Get those thoughts out of your head Henry, you don't need her." I thought to myself. Just then I heard Victor, "Are you thinking about Amber again?" He asked

"No." I gritted.

"Yes you are, don't lie." Victor pushed on.

"She doesn't care anymore." Victor added.

As much as I didn't want to believe it, what Victor was saying, it's true. I pulled up to school and parked the car, then got out and saw Amber with the losers. I rolled my eyes as I slammed my door shut and walked in.

Amber's POV:

I was walking down the sidewalk when I felt someone next to me, it was Richie. "Hey, Rich." I stated. Just then, the rest of the losers came joined, we all chatted about the last day until we had to break apart and go to class. The day was very long and very boring. As soon as the final bell rang I jumped out of my seat and ran to my locker, then grabbed all the stuff out of my locker. I was walking out the door when I saw they boys dumping their school bags in the trash and I smiled, I looked over and saw Betty Ripsom's mom and frowned. I could tell the boys were talking about it too. I looked over and watched as Henry grabbed Richie's backpack and ripped him backward into Stan, then I started to rush over as Patrick grabbed Stan's Yarmulke and tossed it into a moving school bus. Henry rammed into Bill and I heard "You s-s-suck Bowers!" That's my Bill I thought to myself.

I watched as Henry stopped and turned around, mocking Bill. I was only a couple feet when I heard Bowers say while getting in Bill's face, "You got a free ride this year 'cause of your little brother. Rides over Denbrough." I was pissed as I ran towards him, I heard police radio static and Henry looked up and I saw fear flash through his features as he looked at his father. He continued, "This summer's gonna be a hurt train for you and your faggot friends." I saw him raise his hand and I got in front of him as I felt his hand rub saliva on my face, I didn't care though.

"Bowers, you better watch yourself." I threatened, rubbing his spit off my face.

"You should be the one watching yourself doll-face." Henry smirked as he walked off to his Pontiac.

I rolled my eyes and turned around looking at everyone to make sure they were okay. I looked at Stan and hugged him saying that I was sorry for not getting over sooner. We went to our houses and I was left to walk alone.

I didn't want to go home so I decided to go to the quarry. I sat there for a good while and then decided that I was going to give Eddie a visit. I walked to his house and knocked on the door. His mother came to the door and greeted me politely, "Why, hello, Amber! she said.

"Hello Mrs.Kaspbrak, is Eddie home?" I ask.

"Yes, he is upstairs. Why? She asked.

"Just wanted to check up on him." I smiled.

"Yeah, go ahead." She said and moved out of the way.

I walked upstairs and went into Eddie's room to find him reading comics.

"Hey, Eds." I smiled.

"Hey, Amber. What are you doing here?" Eddie smiled.

"I just wanted to hang out, is that too much to ask?" I stated jokingly.

"What do you want to do?" Eddie asks.

"Why don't we go get ice-cream and then hang out at the park?" I suggested.

"Sure! That sounds fun." Eddie exclaimed, putting on his shoes.

We headed out the door with no trouble because, for whatever reason, Eddie's mom trusts me. We walked to an ice-cream shop and I got a chocolate ice-cream and Eddie got strawberry. We headed to the park and sat on a bench by the park, I looked into the distance and saw a red balloon in the distance but didn't really think much of it as I was enjoying my ice-cream. We finished our ice-cream and walked down to the pond and watched the fishes swim around.

"God, they are so beautiful." I stated.

"Yeah, I like that one." Eddie replied pointing to a koi fish that was white with yellow splotches and some black scales.

"Hey Eddie?" I asked

"Hey Eddie?" I asked.

"Yeah?" Eddie asked.

"Do you want any new comics?" I asked bluntly.

"No, Amber keep your money, I can get them myself!" Eddie says surprised.

"Trust me, if I didn't have enough money I wouldn't ask." I stated.

"Fine." Eddie mumbled as we walked to the comic book shop. We got there and then Eddie picked out what he wanted. We paid and left, "It's quarter to one, don't you have to go to the barrens with the losers? I will walk you home so that you don't have to deal with Bowers if he is out." I walked Eddie home with no problem and went home to sleep.
