I watched in horror as "Georgie's" body shook violently and growled, I knew that it was fake but it felt so real. All of the sudden Georgie turned into the clown and I watched as his eyes rolled in place. I heard Mike scream multiple times that the gun was not loaded but Bill didn't listen and he fired the empty gun. The clown had a fake hole in it's head as it started to make noises and small convulsions.
Suddenly the clown jerked it's head back and a bit of blood floated up and he started spazzing. Then it lunged for Bill and I ran at Pennywise and jumped on him. I was violently thrown back, my back hitting the sewer walls and I screamed as Pennywise started to go after Bill, biting the gun and violently thrashing. All at once everyone was attacking the clown and I got up to help as well.
Then with one quick movement the boys were all thrown off of him. The clown grabbed Bill and my heart sank. I began to quietly make my way over from behind.
"Let him go!" Bev said.
Pennywise shook his head and said "I'm taking him, I'll take all of you! And I will feast on your flesh as I feed on your fear." The clown raised his finger and his hand started shaking, "Or you'll just leave us be, I'll take him, only him and then I will have my long rest. Then you will all live to grow and thrive and lead happy lives. Until old age takes you back to the weeds." Pennywise said in his raspy voice.
"Leave. I'm the one who dragged you into this, I'm sorry" Bill choked out. With tears in my eyes I picked up a metal pole and continued to walk.
"G-Guys we can't" Bev quavered.
"I-I told you Bill, I fucking told you, I don't want to die it's your fault. You punched me in the face, you made me walk through shitty water, Richie's voice began to grow loud, you brought me to a crackhead house, and now, Richie pauses as he grabs a baseball bat, I'm going to have to kill this fucking clown. Welcome to the loser's club asshole!"
Richie and I both take a swing at the same time and hit him. The others join in as well and I started to notice that every time we took a swing whoever hit him it would become their fear. I took a swing and all the sudden Pennywise's face turned into my moms and I began swinging harder I collapsed onto the ground. I watched as Beverly shoved the pole down the clown's throat.
Time skip to when Bill gives his speech about coming back:
We are all sitting in a circle and Bill picks up a piece of glass and begins "Swear it, Swea-Swear that if it isn't dead, if it ever comes back, we'll come back too. Everybody then, proceeds to stand and Bill cuts his palm and cuts everyone else's as well. Then, we all grab hands and after about two minutes release.
"Guys I have something to tell you..." I said.
"What is it?" Bev asked.
"Do you remember the day you came over to ask me if I wanted to come to the movies Bev?" I asked.
"Yeah, why?" Bev questioned.
"Because the thing that was in the bathroom was..." my nerves started to kick in.
"It was what?" All of them asked.
"It-It was Henry Bowers." I said shakily.
"Oh my god! Why didn't you tell me?" Beverly asked.
"Because I knew you and Henry were once a thing and I didn't want to upset you. Plus I thought the boys would hate me..." I looked down shamefully.
"Are-Are you guys still Da-Dating?" Bill asked.
"Yeah." I looked up. I knew something was wrong.
All of the group looked at each other as if hiding something.
"What?" I asked.
Stan finally spoke up "Henry came after us while we were going down in the sewer and he slipped."
I knew what he was about to say. "He fell down. All the way down." Mike finished.
It didn't feel real.It couldn't be real, he's still alive. I decided to block out all feeling.
"Thanks for telling me guys" I said as coolly as I could. One by one each group member left, it was only Bev,Bill, and I. I started to leave and before I got out of site I watched as Bev and Bill kissed and I mentally cheered for my boy.
It's over, it's finally over! I thought to myself as I left. Only it wasn't...
