3RD PERSON POV
"so what's the first step?" jihoon asked yoojung, in her dorm.
they were currently 'hanging out' in yoojung's dorm room, talking about doyeon, figuring out ways to get her to like her, and get jihoon to finally confess to her.
"well. . . you see, when i liked daniel, he wasn't my friend so i literally had to start from step one. but you, you're lucky, you're already doyeons friend, close friend for that matter, no, bestfriend actually." yoojung corrected herself.
"but the hard part is, now you have to get out of the friend zone." yoojung explained.
"okay. . so you'll have you'll have to help me with that." jihoon responded.
"okay, how bout we-"
"hi yoojung..! what are you guys talking about?" yoojung's roommate, sohye asked as she stepped in the room.
"uh it was nothing," yoojung looked at jihoon. "we're just gonna head out to the cafe now actually.." yoojung slightly salty.
"no, it's okay! don't mind me, i'll just be sitting here, you guys talk." she replied still happy.
"no, it's alright, i'm feeling hungry anyway." yoojung lied and dragged jihoon out by the arm.
"oh is that your roommate? you've never introduced us." jihoon asked.
"i know. she's weird, something's off about her, don't talk to her." yoojung stated
"really..? don't you think you're being a bit.. mean?" jihoon asked which gained a glare from her.
alright then, i'll keep that in mind, let's go continue our conversation." jihoon said, and the two walked to the cafe.

"so did you finally get to see him? jihoon?" haknyeon asked his cousin, sohye.
sohye repeatedly nodded her head. "yep, he's way cuter up close." she replied
haknyeon sighed, "when will yoojung ever notice me...?" he looked onto the ground.
"she will one day, believe me, something just needs to happen to her, for her to ask for your help. nothing bad of course! after all, i do aspire to be exactly like her."

*knock knock*
doyeon lazily got off her desk chair, and opened her door. "oh, mina? what are you doing here? how did you know my dorm number??" she asked her. "this is your room? im your new roommate!" mina showed doyeon the room number on her key. "no way!!!" doyeon hugged mina and welcomed her inside.
the two took the oppurtunity to get to know eachother, and talk about everything.

"goodnight mina,sleep well, it's a weekend tomorrow" doyeon said from her bed, lying down, staring at the ceiling.
"goodnight doyeon" mina replied.
"this is going to be a good year." she mumbled back.
