chapter 5- talks

3RD PERSON POV

"so, how's everything? how's collage for you?" maya asked after the waiter served us our hot drinks.

"it's okay, would be more fun if you guys attended the same collage." yoojung pouted. "come on, don't be upset!" jinyoung pleaded.

"do you know how much everyone misses you?" yoojung asked him.  "i promise i'll visit soon, i just havent found the time yet." jinyoung chuckled. "so how's the gang? still the same?" he asked.

"well. . . seonho's girlfriend, she just transfered here and she's doyeon's new roommate." yoojung explained. "ahh, mina right? we haven't met yet." jinyoung replied. "that's good." yoojung mumbled.

"why? you don't like her?" maya asked. "no, it's not that i don't like her, it's just. . . uh i don't know im just imagining childish things." yoojung brushed off the thoughts in her mind.

"you can tell me anything yoojung, you have before, you know that." maya patted her hand resting on the table.

yoojung and jihoon decided to hang out in the campus library today, to discuss the situation with doyeon. yoojung was all for it, she knows how long jihoon has waited and considering that jihoon had spoke up about her, he must really want this.

"so if you don't want to not be in the friendzone then don't treat her as a friend. simple." yoojung told jihoon.

"wait so you want me to treat her badly?" he asked.

"no, what? you have to treat her extra well. don't become all weird with her, and do not distance yourself from her! that will only need to be done as the last resort. . . to see how she really feels about you."

"that seems so hard yoojung-ah" jihoon pouted as he leaned his face on the palm of his hand.

"look if its that hard why dont you just confess to her then? she replied

"i dont want it to seem that i asked her out of no where you know?  i've liked her for a long time, and i'm just realising it now. i mean she clearly can't tell right? so i want her to see that im making a bigger effort." jihoon confessed

"then... just tell her the truth, tell her stuff you wouldnt tell anyone else, make her feel like she's important to you. like you care." yoojung explained.

"that shouldn't be too hard, i'm a pretty honest guy." he chuckled.

"yes, you are, so don't lie like i did." yoojung sighed.

"hey~ don't be sad, that's old news now. " jihoon pleaded as he shook yoojung's arm. "enough talk about me, let's talk about you now." jihoon tried to change the subject as well as shift the topic off of doyeon since yoojung was the other important girl in his life.

"so daniel's coming in a week, how are you feeling?" jihoon asked, hiding his excitment. "well you seem excited." yoojung stated. "i am! aren't you?? are you guys. . . gonna get back together?" jihoon asked.

"i don't know, we'll see, if he still feels the same way." yoojung let out a light smile.

"he will. no matter what, he will." jihoon assured her.

Little did they know a pretty girl lurked behind one of the book racks. "Jihoon likes Doyeon...?"

"This is fun." She smiled.
