chapter 15- the beginning

3RD PERSON POV

"i'm back" doyeon lazily said as she entered the dorm, throwing her bag onto her bed.

mina turned around from her chair, doyeon noticed her mascara all over her eyelids.

"mina what's wrong? what happened?" doyeon ask worriedly as she attempted to wipe the mascara off her face.

"doyeon! you're back! i really need to talk to you, my friend, she. . ." mina lied through her teeth, thinking of anything she could, anything to make doyeon crack it and tell her whats going on between her and yoojung.

"it's okay mina, i understand i mean, i've been having problems with yoojung too, but you wouldn't want to know about that." doyeon chuckled.

"no please, it would make me feel better." mina pleaded, forcing tears out of her eyes.

and just like mina wanted, doyeon told her everything, from highschool to now. now mina knows all the problems, all the issues they have came across and can possible come across again in the future. that was her plan after all. 

"you know what! you need to freshen up and we need to get out of here!" doyeon said excitedly.

"the library? seriously?" mina asked doyeon.

doyeon let out a chuckle. "well. . . we both just came back from lunch so i thought we should just go out, and i need to get a book anyway. . ." doyeon said and they walked towards the bookshelves.

"Alright, well i think we're good now..." jihoon told the group as he stood up from the table they were sitting at in the library.

"just send the final copy to my email." jihoon said to haknyeon and looked to yoojung so that they could leave.

"yoojung, let's go to the cafe. . . i didn't get to eat because i bumped into doyeon before." jihoon explained.

yoojung stood up then she saw and doyeon and mina walk in.

"what are they doing together?" yoojung thought to herself, even though she knew they were 'close-ish' and that they were roommates, she couldn't help but wonder. she had a feeling inside.

"Actually, i'm gonna stay for a bit, i'll help haknyeon email you the assignment as well" yoojung sat back down and smiled.

jihoon gave a bit of a confused face and she could see that sohye didn't know what to do.

"actually you know what, you should go with sohye instead" yoojung smiled and looked to sohye.

she didn't like sohye and jihoon together alone but in this case, it wasn't what was on her mind and the moment, so she let it go.

"wait what yoojung?" jihoon asked for reassurance and yoojung smiled back, not thinking much, as too much was on her mind.

"i-i'd love to go with you" sohye said.

"s-sure. . . let's go" jihoon smiled out of his kindness and led the way.

YOOJUNG POV

i carefully watched mina and doyeon wonder around the bookshelves. i put my hoodie up so i couldn't be noticed as they were approaching the bookshelf behind us.

i couldn't help but wonder about what they were doing and i guess my facial expressions couldn't hide that either.

"yoojung is something wrong?" haknyeon asked. "you look worried." he continued.

i let out a light smile since i got caught thinking.

"it's nothing" i brushed him off and he continued to type away on his laptop.

i leaned back on my chair to get a better hearing in what doyeon and mina were talking about.

"well. . . isn't daniel coming back in the next few days, you can always do something then." mina said to doyeon casually.

"what do you mean?" i heard doyeon ask, sounding confused.

"well, i mean, if you want to get back at her, why not get close to daniel again? so she can learn her lesson for mistreating you." mina replied back.

what? get back at me? doyeon wouldn't do that.

 would she?

i mean, if i could do something like that to her, then who says she wouldn't something bad to me too?

i stopped my train of though when i realised haknyeon was tugging at my sleeve.

"please tell me~" haknyeon begged.

i guess my expression was giving off my thoughts again.

"really, it's nothing" i refused his help again.

"please tell me, i can't help you if you don't tell me." he gave me a look.

well, if he really want's to help me. . . i might as well just take it.

"you know my friend doyeon. . .?" i asked him.

"of course i do." he replied, paying all attention to me.
