Eventually, everyone finished their delicious meals. I was glad since they all seemed satisfied with their food. I initially thought that I had over-cooked the omelette, but that seemed to be the food they enjoyed the most out of all of them.

"Wow, I really should go to your restaurant one day! That food was delicious!" Bendy complimented with a very satisfied look on his face, patting his belly with satisfaction. "Yeah, it opens at twelve PM and closes at twelve AM. I don't really get much of a break." I confessed.

In all honesty, I would make the lunch break longer, but as the main chef of the restaurant, it's hard to abandon your job for too long as the top chef. You'd sometimes have to remind the newbies about everything as the other chefs were always busy.

Truly a pain in the ass.

"Wait, so you work for twelve hours straight? No wonder you look so tired! How long is your lunch break?" Mugs had asked with slight worry laced in his voice. How old was he again? He had to be around the same age as Boris, right?

"Forty-five minutes. It's enough for a decent meal, honestly. You mustn't worry." I said in an attempt to prevent any further worry from anyone. It was true that I greatly appreciated worry since it showed their care, but it was simply unnecessary.

"Sorry. We were just worried about your health. Look at those bags under your eyes, it seems you haven't been getting enough sleep. We appreciate your kindness but if we're bothering you just tell us, ok?" Felix asked with a worrying tone again; it was getting annoying. Why couldn't they mind their own damn business?

"Alright, but you guys should start going to bed. The guest rooms are on the second floor." I said, using my paws to gesture towards the staircase. "There are two individual beds for each room, so one of you can take my room. I'll sleep on the couch in my room."

"The ink brothers shall sleep in one room while the cup brothers sleep in the other. It would be best to keep the brothers together, anyway. Felix follow me and get changed. In every guest room, there's a bathroom, a closet, a television, basically a hotel room." Bendy gawked.

"Are you sure we don't have to pay for this? Free food, free room? Everything's so fucking luxurious!" He said, feeling a bit guilty for it.

I heard a quiet yet angry "language!" by Boris.

I shook my head. "You do not have to pay me back, I guess you could say your company is worth enough. It gets quite lonely living in this large apartment," I said.

"We really appreciate this, (Y/N). If were were to wait any longer we would have starved." Cuphead said, giving me a small thankful smile. For once, he actually spoke to me without hesitation.

"It was absolutely no problem, it was simply the logical option when you have space and the necessities to care for others. " I offered. As a host, it would be rude of me to not give the guests some priority. He shook his head.

"No thank you, I would like you to take a shower first." He said with a closed eye smile. He's such a gentleman. "I appreciate it very much, Felix. " I said, before heading to my room with Felix closely following me to my room.

"Hey Bendy. What do you think of (Y/N)? I think she's super cool, talented and nice! I'm surprised you didn't flirt with her. Why is that?" Boris asked Bendy curiously as he glanced at his brother next to him.

"Well, I didn't flirt with her because I was too hungry -  I just didn't have too much time for talking. Plus, she's literally famous. If Felix looks up to her and admires her, then she's really something special. She is quite cute, though. Gotta admit." Bendy said, with a surprisingly mature voice. Boris nodded.

"Her food is really delicious, isn't it? The way she cooked with such skills just mind-blowing!" Boris complimented, imitating the explosion. "I wanna cook like her someday!" He added.

"I'm sure you'll be able do to it, Boris." Bendy said in an encouraging way. They both shared a small grin as they bid each other goodnight for the day, heading to their own beds and falling into a dreamless slumber.

Meanwhile, Mugs and Cuphead were chilling in the second guest room, chatting amongst themselves. "Cuphead, you weren't acting like yourself today. I know you're acting and all that, but today you barely said anything! You just wanted some Red Bull and you just thanked (Y/N). You didn't even seem like you meant it!" Mugs said while his brother changed into a tank top with some comfortable pants.

"I just wasn't in the mood, Mugs. I swear I was about to fucking faint. Oh by the way, where are the tea bags? Specifically, the chocolate scented ones?" Mugs sighed.

"If you're planning to get in a relationship one day, you shouldn't be so rude to girls. Anyways, all the tea bags are in your bag, remember? I'm taking a shower first. Bye!" Mugs said, before grabbing his clothes and heading to the bathroom.

Cuphead only sighed in disbelief. "I don't have time for relationships right now. All we have to focus on is finding the pieces before them so we don't have to kill them." Cuphead muttered under his breath.

It was getting quite late at night. I have trouble sleeping at night for unknown reasons. I mean, I wake up early every day, though I sleep late. So why wasn't I asleep yet? I was tired, everyone else in this apartment was fast asleep by now.

I checked the time. 4:36 AM. It meant I would only get five hours and twenty-four minutes of sleep.

The bags under my eyes would be even more noticeable tomorrow. I moved in sorrow attempts to get comfortable; though despite my efforts - I wasn't falling asleep. Why wouldn't sleep swallow me up already?

I decided to face-plant into a pillow careful not to wake the fellow cat up. He was sleeping so soundly, waking him up would cause a wave of guilt to wash over me.

I felt something bubbling up my throat as the liquid filled my mouth and slowly drip from my mouth. Eyes widening, I quickly rolled out the sofa to prevent any more ink from soaking to my pillow and rushed to the bathroom, knocking over my lamp as I ran.

I didn't bother to even pick it back up, I needed to erase all the evidence as soon as possible. I had guests, and I didn't want them to leave because of that.

I scrambled to the bathroom and slammed the door closed, forgetting about not waking up the guests. I immediately found my 'ink disposal' bucket and barfed all the blood and ink.

Disgusting.

Ink leaked out of my eyes, my mouth and everywhere, really. I heard faint footsteps come toward in my direction. I fearfully looked behind me, only to be greeted with a familiar figure.

"(Y/N)?"
