Not-so-surprisingly, he didn't exactly understand what I meant.
"Two faces? What the hell do you mean by that?" he asked obliviously. I wanted to facepalm at how he didn't know such a simple slang, but I explained it to him nonetheless.
"I mean, like, you have split personalities; an alter ego in a way. You act so differently. Sometimes you're nice, sometimes you're a rude douchebag."
He scoffed, "Gee thanks, but that is none of your business. I can do what I want, there's no reason. Drop the subject or else I'm dropping you."
After the words left his mouth, I immediately clutched tighter onto his coat, purposely hugging him from behind. "Don't drop me, you're warm and good to hug. Better than the grass," I said.
It was true; he was warm. Even warmer once I said that. Did he do it on purpose?
Anyway, we finally reunited with the others.
"You're back! (Y/N), you feeling okay?" Felix greeted, watching as I crawled off Cuphead's back.
"I'm fine, thank you. Just feeling quite weak," I responded, refusing to admit that there was still the lingering soreness in my throat.
I turned back to Cuphead, where he had his gloves in his pockets casually. Mugs looked relieved that his big(?) brother had returned, until his pupils darted to Cuphead's pocket.
What was he looking at-? My eyes travelled to Cuphead's pockets for another look.
It was black. Oh, right. He used his gloves to wipe the ink off my face, no longer sustaining a cloud-white colour.
"I used it to clean (Y/N)'s inky face." He answered. Revealing that was unnecessary. Mugs didn't need to know, it was embarrassing! He totally did that on purpose!
I felt a light tap on my shoulder; turning around, I noticed it was Bendy. "H-hey, (Y/N). . . you took the pills, didn't you? The ink pills?"
"I-I, yeah. I took them, but I'm really sorry I didn't take them when you gave it to me. It's just that, well, they're yours. They belong to you and your needs, and I don't want you to waste them on me."
Bendy looked saddened, probably thought I had a low self-esteem.
He was right, in a way, but I couldn't say anything else.
Our 'conversation' didn't last very long, as a high-pitched yelp interrupted what was already an awkward situation.
"Guys! Come here, the map's acting all weird!" Boris yelled from the distance. We all rushed to the river Boris was standing near, the crystal-clear liquid flowed down the river at fast speeds.
He wasn't wrong, the map was floating and spinning in mid-air like magic! It was pointing to what seemed to be a stone-like carving in the water, a symbol of some sort. It was unclear; rushing water made it hard to make out.
"Are maps supposed to do that?" Mugs asked. "Weird," said Cuphead.
Felix only had a determined expression, almost as if he was expecting this very moment. Bendy and Boris only looked frightened at the scene before them, bewildered at this magical map.
I, on the other hand, was just confused, to say the least.
"I think the map is pointing to that stone carving in the water," I said, pointing to a grey blur within the rushing river.
"You're right, (Y/N)- WOAH!" Felix said, before a large portal opened up in front of the stone.
Boris, being the closest to the portal, was sucked in first. Before foot would disappear within the portal, Bendy shot his hand to attempt to bring his brother back. Needless to say, it didn't work.
