I watched as the creature get struck by Felix' claws one by one. With every slash, blood poured from the monster's wounds as Felix remained unscathed.

The creature then fell to the ground, but Felix was on its head. Blood splotches peppered the rocky floor as Felix stood heroically over the corpse. . . to the other side. Unsure of who he was facing, I was about to climb up until I was interrupted by a familar voice.

"Mr. Felix!" Bendy yelled, I could hear it from the other side of the dead creature. Ah, that. I swiftly protracted my claws and climbed up to where Felix stood.

"You guys! You're alive, thank god!" I said with a smile. We both hopped down and landed on our feet as all cats do. It was only then I noticed Cuphead's injured eye; bruised and battered.

"Cuphead, What happened to your eye?" I asked in worry, stretching my paw out to look at it before he slapped it away rudely. "Just got it when we fell here. It doesn't matter, but have you seen Jackpot?" Cuphead asked in a bad attempt to switch the subject.

Successful nonetheless, I wasn't going to argue with him.

I quickly took Jackpot out of my purse, luckily he didn't witness the death of a creature right before his eyes. "He's right here, safe and sound." I carried the little kitten to him. "Jackpot! You're alive!" He said as happiness shined in his eyes.

Jackpot was passed to him, as the cat nuzzled Cuphead's face as Cuphead nuzzled Jackpot back. I let out a small 'aww.' and looked at them with a small smile. Adorable, weren't they?

Surprisingly, he picked up Jackpot under the arm and showed the black and white kitten to me. "Isn't he cute and strong? He survived and that means he's my perfect partner!" He said. The cat just looked at me with a strange face as if he understood a word.

This made me wonder what his true personality looked like. Childish? Mature? Arrogant? Serious? I couldn't tell. Looked like a serious case of bipolar disorder if you asked me.

"Yeah, he's adorable." I said. I walked forward and pet the kitten. He then handed me Jackpot and I held it in a warm embrace. "Aww! You guys look like a family!" Mugs complimented, making Cuphead flush a bright crimson.

"M-Mugs!" He said, glaring at his brother. I chuckled quietly. "Stop with the shit, you guys aren't a couple ya' know!" Bendy said with slight jealousy in his tone. "We might be." Cuphead said with a smug grin. What--

Felix cleared his throat.

"Now that we're all here, let's continue. Though, it looks like there's a pile of boulders blocking our path. I'm afraid the creature that's been eating all these oversized boulder spiders might be behind this, though I'm not sure. These boulder spiders aren't supposed to be this big!" Felix said, pointing to the large rock pile ahead.

I was already frightened by these dead boulder spiders, so whatever creature is eating them must be ten times scarier! That thought alone was scary.

Felix pushed his face sideways against one of the large rocks. "There's definitely something behind here, I hear a waterfall." He said.

"Then let's get rid of these rocks! They don't look too heavy!" Bendy said, pulling up his sleeves.

"Don't kid yourself, small fry. There's no way you can-- eh?!" Cuphead stared in disbelief as Bendy lifted one of these rocks with ease. I was in shock as well; he sure had a lot of armstrength.

"This is going to take forever, Bendy." Boris said, seemingly unimpressed.  "Well, Boris, do you have any other ideas in mind?" He replied.

"So does this mean, all this time he could have kicked our asses if we didn't have our shooting powers?" Cuphead mumbled quietly to himself.

Shooting powers? That sounded stupid, but fascinating.

"Don't sweat it, Bendy!" We'll destroy this in no time, right Cup?" Mugs said with a determined look on his face. Cuphead looked rather nervous about this; he was shaking. I could tell.

"I don't want to, okay?! My vision is still blurry!" Liar. He was scared, but I didn't know about what. I

"Alright, geez. Well then, double the power for me! You guys might want to stand back for this." Mugs replied with arrogance.

Cuphead didn't respond and instead seemed to paranoid about something as he continued to stand there unresponsive. So, I pulled him back myself.

"Cup, your brother said to stand back. Are you ok?" I asked as I placed a paw on his shoulder before it got slapped away again. "I-I'm fine." he said. He stuttered.

We all turned to Mugs who was preparing what looked like an attack? I wasn't sure but it looked. . . magical. I wanted to know more.

His gloved hands glowed blue as it glowed brighter and larger by every second. Like it was second nature to have magical finger guns.

"Hya!" He said, before launching an attack towards the boulder pile. With just one blast, what was once a pile of rocks quickly became ashes.

"Wow, that was awesome!" cheered Boris with excitement. Felix had stars in his eyes, and Bendy just looked like he felt bad for the boulders. Cuphead only looked at Jackpot and I who were both clinging on to him in fear. "Y-You guys can do that?" I asked.

"Yup, we shoot out of our fingers!" Mugs answered.

Was that their "shooting power"? How come they. . . how come they never told me!

"My friend is better than yours Bendy~!" Boris bragged, hugging Mugs tightly. "No way, Mugs is my friend too! Heh, you can have the other one." Bendy joked. I wasn't quite sure it was a joke, though. Honestly.

Cuphead just scoffed.

"I think you're a good friend, Cup." I whispered, looking up at him. "If there's anything you need to tell someone, I'm always here." I said.

I knew he was hiding something. That there was something keeping him from shooting, and I was sure it wasn't a problem with his vision. It was for another reason that he didn't want to shoot.

And I'm going to figure out what.
