"Finally, some sunlight!" Boris said, admiring the wonderful view before us. There was a beautiful waterfall with the warming sun shining through a large hole in the rocky ceiling; a flawed paradise I would say.
The view was wonderful and all, but the fact that the dead boulder spiders scattered across the rocks still remained. I didn't like it, not one bit. It would have looked like a beautiful paradise if it wasn't for them.
"I hope we found an exit," Felix added. "You were right Mr. Felix, there is definitely something eating these boulder spider things." He said, looking at one of the remains from the oversized spiders. Cuphead on the other hand, was just hugging 'his' kitten. Or, 'our' kitten.
I found him and we both get to keep him, I guess.
"He's pretty fluffy. Remind you of anyone?" Mugs said. It seemed Cuphead remembered something from his childhood and laughed along with his brother. Cute.
"It seems the piece is just up ahead guys- mmph!" Boris said, looking at the map before Felix shushed him. A loud crunching sound was heard from in front of us as we immediately turned our heads to look at it.
And, it was a large mermaid. She looked so peaceful, yet deadly. Thankfully, looking away from us. Munching down on a fucking boulder spider like it was a cookie. That's what has been eating those spiders, but she looked so innocent. So entracing. .
"So that's why that symbol was familiar. It was a 'high-sea' mermaid! I guess I didn't recognize it because she was in her sleeping form." Felix said, stroking his chin and turning to face us. "But like the boulder spiders, why is she so incredibly giant?" He added.
Boris then looked at the map, then at the mermaid. "We can't go around her though, the part is in her head!" Boris said before Felix huffed.
"Why do we have to kill such a majestic creature?" He complained.
"The better question is, how are we going to do that shit?" Cuphead added. "Cup's right, I know you took down that large monster earlier, but this thing looks much stronger." I added.
It was giant, to say the least.
"Ya know what? You go ahead and shoot, Mugs! I believe in you!" Cuphead said with a thumbs up. Something was up and I knew it.
Mugs only looked at him with an annoyed expression. Bendy seemed deep in thought, before his eyes narrowed with pity. "Cup. . ." He quietly said, before he went to Cuphead's side.
"Why are you lookin' at me like that?" Cuphead asked with uncertainty laced in every word, "heh." Bendy replied.
"Don't worry, Cup. You won't hurt your brother again if you care for him so much!" Bendy said, giving him a warm smile. I've assumed Cuphead had hurt his brother with his magical powers, badly, may I add.
No wonder he was so paranoid about earlier, the poor man.
Boris and Mugman turned to Cuphead with a knowing look. Felix just looked confused. "Ok, maybe that's the reason-- but I can easily shoot anything anytime!" He scoffed, crossing his arms.
Mugs then ran to him with joy. "Aww, Cuppy!" He said, before embracing his brother in a warm but bone-crushing hug. Cuphead only blushed in embarrassment in response.
Bendy looked at the large but elegant looking mermaid with loving eyes, his demonic tail flicking side to side. "So, he likes them big?" Cuphead asked. Thankfully, Boris didn't get the dirty joke.
He thought Cuphead meant something else. Hopefully, he never finds out what he truly meant.
"Those are his favorite," Boris replied with a slightly annoyed look. Mugs was still clinging onto Cuphead before Felix looked at us with a worried expression.
