Psyche

The camper and careful planner in its synaptic forestry.

The essence bearer this all spawns forward from thusly.

Mind ignites and stokes desire into a fire

For which the creeping thoughts and fleeting feelings to convene.

Enamored, they all clamor towards its compelling glamour.

First appearing through the thicket,

The ever persistent envisioner,

Dreams makes use of the given light of desire

To weave its beliefs and draw out horizons to which it wildly aspires.

The chanting gambler, Hope ganders at its chances and does its dances.

Always candid albeit baseless convictions it may brandish.

The spirited drifter, Happiness sits between the two.

In silence it swoons. In ardent audience of their views

As it feeds the flames til blue, its passions are the cinders spewed.

The skeptical rebels, Doubt is called down out of the shroud,

The leader of its peers, it sits most distant with its band of fears giving peculiar leers.

Bumbling thoughts tread over this tired psysche.

The perplexity of the human mind with these sights imbued in kind.
