Farewell

In his blind ventures therein, he did find a friend.

A fine maiden, fair of face and mind as well as kind.

They traveled together awhile and in their shared times,

They reveled in exchanges of their smiles and cries.

Taken to one another well, they hince did delve,

Into fancies of romantic fantasies between themselves.

Albeit heavenly bonds they verily felt,

At last, breaks in their pathes meant they beared their farewells.

Granted the circumstance, they'll meet again per chance

Yet forever tethered by the happiness passed

...Etched indelibly in reflections

Of memory's looking glass.
