Wasted

The painful past you had, your ails i reconciled.

Without gimmick or guise, gave refuge to confide.

Honest truths I cried, never spewed the usual lies.

Likened to medicine perscribed, a remedy was I.

And duely was my substance abused so in kind.

Loving in my displays, as if a bandage for your pain,

Picked then eventually was peeled away.

Carelessly tossed then implored to remain.
