❀ ✿ ❀ ~ Eva ~ ✿ ❀ ✿

The next morning, I wake up to a knock at my door and I groan, turning over and throwing one of the pillows on my bed at the door. "Go away!"

"It's six-thirty, Eva!" Grayson calls through the door and I curse, rolling off the bed.

"I'll be down in a minute," I sigh and stand up. I grab my suitcase and pull out some workout clothes and go take a shower.

Twenty minutes later, I jog downstairs and grab an apple from a bowl on the counter, dreading the rest of this day. I'm not ready to face the pack I grew up in.

Outside, I see that the packs are separated, waiting patiently on the grass for us to begin. I jog over as I take a bite out of my apple, "Good morning, pack."

"Good morning, Luna Eva." My pack calls out, eliciting a ripple of murmurs from Andrew's pack as some recognize my name and me.

I look at Andrew's pack, "Is everyone here?" Grayson steps up to my side and gives me a nod as Andrew's pack mumbles a weak, 'yes'. I hum and walk around them, ignoring the look I get from them.  "As some of you may know, my name is Evangeline and I am the Luna of the Lunar pack. I am also the last white wolf known to werewolf kind."

Andrew's pack gasps quietly and I continue. "Some of you from the Silver Eclipse may recognize me. Two years ago, I lived among you, I walked that road to the high school every day because no one would give a ride to an omega. On my sixteenth birthday, I met my mate. However, much to my dismay, my mate turned out to care more about his reputation," I pause as I scan the crowd, seeing Andrew standing at the back of his pack, watching me. I continue, "than being a good mate, and he harshly rejected me because I was weak and pathetic."

Murmurs wash over Andrew's pack and I look at the grass, "Although, in a way, I'm glad he did, because if he hadn't," I turn my gaze to look happily at my pack with pride. "I wouldn't have them."

"The lesson today is to learn that a pack should not have an omega. A pack is a family, you build each other up, you help each other grow. My pack does not have an omega."

"Andrew, why are they here?" A voice spits and I turn slightly, my eyes land upon Gloria.

I smile at my sister, "I am here because this pack is weak and the council sent me and my pack because you guys need proper training."

Gloria's eyes roll and her mouth opens to continue but I shake my head. "Don't even say another word. I'm not sixteen anymore and I sure as hell don't let people like you walk all over me anymore. So either go back inside or go stand with the rest of your pack."

Gloria glares daggers at me and quickly hurries over to her pack. I plaster a wide smile on my face, "Alright then, let's get training started, shall we?"

Ten minutes later, I'm jogging slowly behind the stragglers that are having a hard time keeping up. "Come on, guys, you can do it."

A few of them speed up but a few completely give up and falling onto the ground in exhaustion, one of them being Gloria. She stares at the sky through the trees as I come closer to her, "Are you giving up this easily?"

Her eyes flicker over to me and she makes a face, "Shut up."

"Have you ever trained, Gloria?"
