"Why won't you just fight me?!" Sam seemed a little enraged by my actions, but even then, I pushed the Mercy button once again. "I'll hurt you with kindness! If that makes any sense.." Sam held a disgusted look on her face and facepalmed, mumbling things under her breath and sighing. I looked at her confused, but shook it off as quickly as it came. "Alright." Was all Sam said as she walked closer to me-

"Let's say either you or someone you cared about were dying, wouldn't you want revenge.?" "I'll feel mad.." "Then focus your anger into power." Sam walked around me, her magic, which was purple, surrounded my body, making me stand tall before making me go into a position like a squat. Sam walked in front of me, "let your anger be your power." I nodded my head, "now let's try this again. Also, allow your other emotions to become your power as well, not just anger. Since this is just training." I took in a deep breath and closed my eyes, trying to feel any sort of powerful emotion. I quickly stood up and charged after her, but she dodged with ease. I really am bad at this. "Oh, also, I'll be fighting back. So keep your guard up and be alert for anything." She summoned a lot of spears, which got me concerned and wondering if I'll be lucky enough to come out without a scratch. The spears came at me, but a bit slower, which allowed me to dodge them, and just as I was about to celebrate, I sensed something coming at behind me. I quickly turned my head and realized it was a spear coming at me, and this one was not slowing down. I used my arms as a shield and closed my eyes tightly, waiting for the impact, but too my surprise, I didn't feel anything. I opened my eyes and gasped softly noticing I summoned a red faint shield, the spear was through it which caused it to have cracks, and the tip was almost touching my stomach. The spear disappeared, so I placed my arms down and the shield disappeared as well, what else can I do? Is there going to have to be a lot of near death experiences in order to learn? Hopefully not. I heard someone clapping, and realized it was Sam as she was walking closer to me. "Told you the magic was bound to be in you."
