A Week Later
Minseok sat quietly on his bed. It had been a week since he heard Baekhyun and Jongdae's conversation but Jongdae hadn't said a word to him.
"Minseok!" He heard his mom yell
Minseok stood up and slowly walked down the stairs.
"Your friend is here"
Minseok furrowed his brows and walked to the door. His eyes widened as he stared at the boy infront of him.
"Hey, Minseok. Baekhyun said I'd find you here."
"J-Jongdae I-"
"I wanna talk" he smiled softly
Minseok shut his mouth and moved to the side, letting Jongdae inside. A light blush covered Minseok's cheeks as he pulled Jongdae upstairs.
"What do you wanna talk about?" Minseok spoke softly
"My name is Kim Jongdae and I'm here to make you smile" Jongdae's smile widened
Minseok stared at him blankly. Ignoring the pounding in his chest he spoke.
"I'm sorry I think it's time to go" Minseok stood up
"No, please Minseok. Just let me try. I don't know what happened to you but I havnt seen you smile. Not even once. I want to see it." Jongdae gripped Minseok's wrists
Minseok winced snatching his wrists away. He nodded as he looked at Jongdae. Jongdae made joke upon joke and nothing helped until he acted like a moose.
Minseok smiled, a small giggled passing his lips causing Jongdae to try harder.
"Y-You look like a moose!" Minseok laughed loudly
Jongdae stopped happy that he saw Minseok's smile.
"Now please smile like that more often"
Minseok's smile slowly fell as he locked eyes with Jongdae.
"You don't understand" Minseok sighed
"Then help me understand" Jongdae sat beside Minseok and gripped his hand
"I want you to tell me your pain. It's okay I you cry. I'm not going to make fun of you I might even cry myself. But I don't think holding whatever it is inside is helping you."
Jongdae stopped for a moment before continuing.
"I know we aren't close. But please, I want us to be close. I want to get to know you." Jongdae smiled softly
