Destiny's p.o.v

I was dreaming about a memory of Alec and I, back when we weren't married or when we didn't know that we were already arranged to be married, but I smiled in my sleep.

In dream land

Alec and I are in the training room, he was teaching me archery which was something he was always good at that I wasn't.

I asked him if he could help me improve on my shooting and he said he would love too.

"Des keep both eyes open," he says as I aim the bow.

"Keep tension here," he told me placing his hand on my stomach, I felt sparks go through me. I looked up at him, he was smiling at me, he moved his hand and I aimed at the target.

Doing what he showed me I drew the bow and fired at the target, the arrow flew and hit the bullseye. "I did it," I say jumping into Alec's arms and he spun me around..

I woke up to someone shaking me.

"Babe Jace needs us at the police station," I hear Alec say as I groan and roll over. I really like my sleep.

"5 more minutes", I say hugging Alec so I didn't have to get up, but he just wasn't having it.

"I wish, but there are demons involved," he says kissing my cheek and I open my eyes.

"Fine," I say sitting up and Alec laughs.

I get up and put some leggings and Alec's sweater before putting some gear on. Alec and I grab our weapons and head to the police station.

When we get there Izzy is already there with Jace and Clary but Simon was no where to be seen, which is good because this is too dangerous for a mundane

"So the cards are in storage, we have to go get them but any wolf on the force will see us through our glamour runes,"Clary says as we walk up to them.

"Let me guess, we are the distractions," I say and Jace nods. I sighed. I hated being the distraction. I wanted to kill some demons.

"Just long enough so Izzy and turn the power off so we can sneak inside storage," Clary says and I nod.

"Roger that Fray" I say with a smile. Despite everything she's down to piss off the Clave, I was actually starting to like her.

They go off in a different direction while Alec, Izzy and I walk inside. We needed a key card so we could enter the electrical room.

"So are you the one distracting?" Alec asks Izzy when we enter the main room, Izzy looks at the guard before laughing.

"As much as Destiny and I love being the distraction, big bro. I don't think she's our type" she says and I look at the guard who was a girl.

"Actually I would hate being the distraction, but good luck babe and try not to make me jealous," I say kissing his cheek.

He walks over to the lady and begins flirting badly making Izzy and I cringe but at least he was trying "Yikes, does he flirt that bad with you?" she asks me as I shake my head

"No, normally he's good at it when it comes to me, but he isn't the flirty type of person," I say as Alec knocks over the ladies water, as if on que we start walking by and be flings the key badge at us and Izzy caught it.

He comes running in our direction with a bunch of pamphlets "Your flirting needs work," Izzy says as we make our way to the electrical room, Izzy draws a rune before the power shuts off.

As fast as we could, we walked outside into the daylight once again. Inside we could see people running around trying to get the lights back on, a few minutes later Jace and Clary run out through all the commotion.

They come up to us Clary catching her breath "Well?" I say looking at them.

"We've got the cup, we just need to figure out how it get it out of the card," she says as we prepare to walk back to the Institute, only to be surrounded by demons, well here goes nothing..
