4 year later

This morning I woke up to someone jumping on my bed. Slowly I opened my eyes and saw Alec want beside me, then I sat up and saw the faces of my beautiful twins Milo and Shayla.

"Happy birfday momma," Shayla says giving me a great big hug her brother following suit.

"Yeah happy birfday," he says crawling into my lap.

"Thank you my babies," I state standing up, they grab my hands leading me to the kitchen.

"Is that bacon I smell?" I asked them and they nodded.

"Yep," they say together hopping up and down. We entered the kitchen to see Alec and Jace making breakfast for everyone.

"Happy birthday Des," they said together as the kids and I sat at the table.

"Is Auntie Clary coming?" Milo asks from beside me and I nod "yeah bud. Auntie Izzy and Uncle Simon are to," Alec says before setting down plates of bacon and chocolate chip pancakes, then proceeded to sit next to me as everyone else walked in the dinning room.

"When can I get my first rune?" Shayla asks Clary and she smiles

"When you are older and more trained up," the redhead said handing Shayla some juice.

After breakfast they took me to the library to open my presents, Alec and the kids made a photo album full of memories, it was really sweet. Izzy bought me a new pair of heels that I can kill my feet while walking in them. Jace and Clary got me some books to read, which was nice.

These past four years have been fantastic, I'm so glad I got to spend them with my amazing family. Alec has kept me going, I'm so glad I met him and married him, even if it wasn't our saying, he's the love of my life.

He's my angel....
